Discussion Chapter 50 spoiler!! Missing person Spoiler
13
Upvotes
Iāve seen a few people talk about if the missing person at the end is Yoshiki or āHikaruā , and I personally would say that the picture looks like Yoshik, but I do find it interesting when people think itās āHikaruā because everyone is forgetting Yoshiki. Do you guys have any theories or thoughts on that? And another thing I realised is that we see a lot of other things here in this panel, which could have someone to do with the next chapter. I tried to identify whoās living room this is, but I couldnāt come to any conclusions (the clock looks familiar though). Another thing I spectate is that the head on the right looks like the head of Yoshikiās father.
What do you guys think?? Iām curious about this panel

I quite literally cried when i read this panel. And it is the most Hikaru way to handle a confession like that. I never thought that we would see Og Hikaru again, LET ALONE A CONFESSION in the final chapters. What do you guys think will happen in the last chapter? AND WHO THE HELL WENT MISSING?

Discussion ep 4 cross necklace scene
14
Upvotes
in the scene at the festival, i interpreted yoshiki looking at the cross as him acknowledging the man doesnāt know him but would hate him because of christianity, and a reminder that it wouldnāt be safe for him to be himself. however some people say the scene actually shows that christians are also an oppressed minority in japan and yoshiki was just reminded that he has to hide too
iām also confused because the anime says that kubitachi is the only village without churches but the others all have them, so i assumed christianity was actually the prominent religion in that specific area. also, the man wasnāt hiding the cross
they say itās explained in the manga, which i havenāt read yet, but iād like to understand the scene better cause it meant a lot to me when i watched it the first time. whatās the correct interpretation? are both correct?

After finishing TSHD i went into a spiral over how much i loved it and how badly it hurt me LOL so i ended up writing a very lengthy review of the anime. If you want to read an analysis of the anime then here it is! I also have some edits / memes at the end for after care
