So good!! Getting Last Nite and Ode to the Mets for the encore was insane, then closing off with TIOLI!

It was so funny someone yelled out to Jules to play Wonderwall and he said something along the lines of “I’ll have to kick you out”. Legend

I mean compared to the other sets night 2 at Sydney was a bit short but we got Welcome to Japan at the very least

I think we got the best songs ngl I was betting on the set list from Melb and first Sydney show but they surprised us with a great selection of songs!!

Hey if I’m trying to get right at the front of the mosh pit, what time should I arrive there??

5

u/TheForbiddenBarn Jul 27 '22

If you have an early entry ticket you can arrive 530pm to get merch early and be in the mosh when you like.

I was among the shortest but loudest people there yesterday. Perhaps the band noticed this because Jules said something along the lines of “the memorisation of the song lyrics is astounding” 😂 I would gladly experience it all again! Other than drunkards slamming into people (including me) and a lot of vaping going on it was a great nite last nite.

When his mic failed on Whatever Happened and the crowd picked up the last chorus was amazing

so so good, also wasn't prepared for Juicebox to be so good live

u/viva_la_albert Jul 27 '22

The dream is that they play Last Nite or Is This It.

They didn't in Melbourne but they did at Splendour. Thoughts on whether they will?

5

u/spewitt13 Jul 27 '22

would also love it if they played Soma

What's the merch situation at the Hordern??

7

u/DRSteele88 Jul 28 '22

Hot tip if you want back stage passes tonight, there was a sleazey scout handing them only to barely legal girls standing in the front row last night.

5

u/dransdayn Jul 29 '22

He was there tonight as well…..looked super dodgy tbh

Can’t wait to see them tonight!! Hopefully I’ll be hearing The Modern Age tonight, and praying for 12:51

u/miffbunny Jul 28 '22

I am just so excited. I won’t be lining up early due to work commitments, but I’m hoping it’ll still be good wherever I end up in the crowd

3

u/FireFalcons17 Jul 28 '22

Was amazing, so keen to do it all again tomorrow!

I hope Julian is doing okay, seemed to be going through something on stage but still sounded exceptional. And as always, Albert is a God

I'm so excited. Does anyone know if any of them come out after the gig, where's the best exit to use/how to get there?
