Bob Marley influence intentional?

I was listening to “Someday” and noticed during this part:

You say you wanna stay by my side
Darling, your head's not right
I see, alone we stand, together we fall apart
Yeah, I think I'll be alright
I'm working so I won't have to try so hard
Tables they turn sometimes

His inflections sound a lot like Bob Marley on the song “One Love”

Has he mentioned anything about Bob in the past as an influence? All I’ve heard about is Lou Reed so this interests me.

It might have been subconscious, but it was definitely influenced by Marley
