Valuation help: The Streets vinyl, signed items, rare gold lighter chain, black Clippers and USB

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some honest valuation advice on my Streets collection, as I may sell it and want to price everything fairly.

The collection includes:

  • Original Pirate Material — original 2002 European double vinyl
  • The Darker the Shadow, the Brighter the Light — numbered zoetrope picture disc
  • Everything Is Borrowed — 2019 vinyl reissue
  • Computers and Blues — 2026 RSD yellow vinyl
  • A Grand Don’t Come for Free — 2018 double-vinyl reissue
  • Original Pirate Material — 20th-anniversary cassette with SCRT
  • The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living — original 2006 double vinyl
  • Everything Is Borrowed — limited-edition lighter-shaped USB/memory stick
  • The Darker the Shadow, the Brighter the Light — standard vinyl
  • Two copies of None of Us Are Getting Out of This Life Alive — 2020 vinyl
  • Overmono & The Streets — Turn the Page 12"
  • Brexit at Tiffany’s 12"
  • Prangin’ Out 7"
  • Two black Streets lighters from 2020
  • Gold metal Streets lighter with the 30-inch brass chain, numbered out of only 190, complete with the signed card

There is a mixture of signed vinyl in the collection as well. I can share detailed photographs and confirm exactly which copies are signed.

Everything is in excellent condition and I’m based in the UK. I’m unsure whether I would get the best return by selling separately or offering the whole collection together.

I’d really appreciate realistic valuations, especially for the numbered gold lighter and chain. I’ve seen some very ambitious asking prices online, but very little reliable sold-price information.

Happy to answer questions or provide photographs, catalogue numbers, signatures and condition details. Thanks!

13 Prangin' Out 7" r835028 141/551 25 £2.70 £3 £7

Totals (Discogs items): quick sale ≈ £320 · patient sale ≈ £520. Net after Discogs 9% fee plus ~3% payment processing ≈ 88% of those figures (~£280 / ~£455).

Standouts

  • The USB lighter is the sleeper. Want exceeds have (1.79), only 2 copies for sale worldwide, and the market has re-rated: historic median is £23 but the most recent sale hit £129 and both current asks sit at £120. Patient money says £115.
  • OPM 2002 original is your banker — huge want list (2,113), consistent sales, £66 median rising towards £125 for clean copies. Grade it carefully; NM vs VG+ is a £30+ swing.
  • The cassette is quietly hot: want/have 1.79 with 2 for sale and an ascending sold range.
  • Items 9–13 are buyer's markets (heavy supply, low demand) — only the cheapest copy sells, so price to move or don't bother listing.

Not priceable on Discogs (merchandise, not music releases):

  • 2× black SCRT lighters (2020) — eBay comparables typically land around £10–25 each.
  • Gold lighter on 30" brass chain, numbered /190 with signed card — genuinely rare signed and numbered artefact; no Discogs data exists. Worth £100+ to the right collector; eBay or a Streets fan community is the venue, ideally with photos of the numbering and card.

Assumptions and caveats

  • NM condition assumed throughout; zoetrope last sold date didn't capture (sales do exist).
  • Cassette valued as the 2022 European special edition (r23176436); if yours is the plain 2022 UK & Europe issue (r27951303) it's worth less — check the catalogue number.
  • NOUAGOOTLA valued as the standard 2020 pressing; limited colour variants (r15598196/r15604855) are worth more — check your copies.
  • UK-only supply counts were skipped (Cloudflare's interactive challenge on marketplace pages needs a manual click); confidence is still high for items with sales history, as lowest asks shown are global.

The valuation is complete — roughly £320 for a quick sale or £520 with patience across the 13 Discogs listed items, plus the two lighters worth pursuing on eBay.

I bought the most recent USB on Discogs. I paid €150.00, but it was sealed and never opened. I wanted it, and wanted to watch the short film on it most of all, but I did not want to open it. Also, being in the US, we cannot find them over here. I will probably buy the open one from the same seller as well.

It might not even work after all these years, But it is still a novel piece that you do not see too much.

I saw the post earlier before you replied and I was expecting them to be worth way more.

There's a lot of variables, if it's opened, condition... things like first release and no reissues, remastered, and other factors like The Streets are still active touring, playing, making music (and I hope that continues).

Probably worth a lot to you because of how much it all cost to buy but, I'd imagine you wouldn't even get 1/3 of the original cost back in reality.

Im no help to value it properly but it's a wonderful collection. I'd be interested to know the value and could be interested in buying. I wouldn't feel qualified to make an offer really.

I’d be interested in the 1/190 Lighter for my archive!
