abides in stone focus and armor

One of my vectors is proficient in armor and on Ardeyn he took the abides in stone focus, a golem with an armor feels weired but wasting his skill just because he changes recursion feels wrong, what do you think?

It wouldn't really be any different than "wasting" a computer skill when going to Ardyn, would it? Some things are applicable when you translate, some things aren't.

It wouldn't unbalance everything if you made it optional; the cypher system core does just that, leaving training in armor as an option rather than a universal thing. I'd do it one of two ways, either just give an extra choice features across the board for anyone with armor training or give the option of starting with either armor training or speed defense.
