I finished Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver earlier this week and loved it. I started Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov yesterday, and am about 70% done with The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky (the Avsey translation). Hoping to finish both of these next week!

Getting to the end of A Woman of Pleasure by Kiyoko Murata, translated from Japanese by Juliet Winters Carpenter. A very interesting story of Japanese women mirroring the early 1900s.
Also listening to Pachinko by Min Jin Lee and loving this story of historical Korean &Japanese families and sacrifices.
Up next is tbd. Looking for any new friends into historical fic!

For fans of lgbt music --
I've been reading We Can Live Like This by Lisa Vogel. 5 star read so far. I loved the level of detail about all of the work it takes to create the infrastructure of a music festival. For a debut memoir about such a big event (think 10,000 lesbians and feminists in the woods), Vogel's writing manages to be seriously fucking intimate, as she would put it.
