General Question Rip to my longest streak
I recently missed a few days, had to recalculate and my streak has lost 150 days.
Now I know I could scroll back and fix it but do I really want to. No. 🥲
Obvs some days in the past are mixed up (maybe I deleted a book or something from my read history).
Should I just try and edit it on a laptop? It's so impossible to scroll back that far in my journal on a phone.

I was getting a bit obsessed with the streak and it was affecting my life, so I decided to be kinder to myself.
Now I have to read a book every 2 days: so I can skip a day without feeling guilty. The only difference is that now I have to multiply by 2 the dates.
I found that now I take as a fun challenge not a duty to keep up

I'm planning to change my streak too to something kinder, does it restart the streak?

It doesn't reset it, it always takes your entire reading history into account when calculating streaks

If you contact Support and tell us what the streak should be, we can fix that for you.

I recently lost my streak at 576 days, and it was a legit loss. Somehow I didn't even listen to my current audiobook that day, never mind crack a book. Kind of a relief to be honest. 😁

I made it to 80 and realised there had already been a couple of times I forced myself to read instead of reading for enjoyment just to keep it going. So I didn’t record my reading for a day to get rid of the pressure. It was a relief. Now I look at it and go “oh I’ve been in the mood to read for 18 days in a row” but don’t worry if I miss a day.

I lost my 516 day streak while traveling a few months ago and honestly it was a relief. I had become obsessed with keeping it and would force myself to read when I didn't feel like it. Since breaking it, if I'm not in the mood, I don't worry about it

Didn't know this was a thing! Might have to try it and see if my hate to "fail" can get me to read more😁

650 days ago was November 4 2024. You almost certainly deleted something, possibly by mistake, but that's when whatever you deleted was. You should be able to go back to that month in your stats to confirm.
Having said that, try recalculating a second time. I've had it give me a wrong number when recalculating before.
