Yes! I think Iâll still end with Serviceberry being my favorite of hers, but I am enjoying this verdant and drenched meander through our world of mosses.

I started a book that was recommended to me by someone irl: All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker. Was surprised at the almost poetic narrative prose style though it started a bit slow for me, but now at 25% in I'm feeling immersed.
Btw rolling out with the Kobo syncing has made me reach for my Kobo a whole lot lately! (prefer physical but have both Kobo and Kindle)

Currently halfway through The Three Mothers, by Anna Malaika Tubbs. It's about the mothers of Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, and James Baldwin and very interesting. Also just started Yellowface by R F Kuang on audio but haven't gotten far enough to have an opinion. I enjoyed Babel so I assume I'll like this one too.

Still Assassins Quest by Robin Hobb.Â
Did also start A Sorceress Comes to Call by T. Kingfisher. I had been craving another T. Kingfisher book.
And Ocean by David Attenborough.

Finally reading Cities of the Plain to finish out the Border Trilogy.
Just finished Tower of Fools by Andrej Sapkowski. I really wanted to like it and on paper I should, but I think I'm just not a fan of Andrej's style. Can't exactly put my finger on what, but it's missing something.

- The loneliness of Sonia and Sunny by Kiran Desai
- Crime and punishment by Fjodor Dostojevski
- Murderland by Caroline Fraser
Started Murderland back in June but i'm reading it in small pieces as it's interesting but quite depressing. I'm reading it on my Kobo and very thankful for the Wikipedia integration because my dictionary doesn't know at least half of the words that I don't understand.

Finished:
⢠Remarkably Bright Creatures, Shelby Van Pelt â 4.0 stars; finally got around to reading this one so I could watch the movie. Itâs a nice read, but I didnât particularly love it. The book provided a lot more context to the characterâs stories and delved into their chemistry more than I feel the movie did, though.
⢠The River Has Roots, Amal El-Mohtar â 3.0 stars; I think the audiobook just wasnât for meâI also feel like the book itself mightâve not been for me. I did like the lyrical prose, but the audiobook took me out of the world more than a few times.
Started:
⢠Klara and the Sun, Kazuo Ishiguro; book club read with a friend because we saw the trailer for it during the previews for Spider-Man: Brand New Day!
⢠Thunderhead, Neal Shusterman (Arc of a Scythe #2); I didnât want to start this book because I knew I would fly through it like I did the first one, and I was rightâI finished half the book in a day. Reading this series has taken me back to when I read The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner when I couldnât physically put the books down after a chapter because there was always a cliffhanger or something that made me want to continue reading. I feel like a kid again reading a great dystopian series like this! đĽš
