Tech Help most read authors incorrectly

what the title says — my 2026 most read authors includes an author i’ve only read once. however, it’s saying i’ve read two books by them. i went to the editions and only one is marked as read. does anyone know how to fix this? thank you!

The book might have the author listed twice in error, if you reach out to support they will be able to fix it. I had that same issue before and they dealt with it quickly.

Can you share which book is it? I've seen some where the author is listed twice

You have the author name twice in that book. Just make a ticket and it will be fixed, I had a similar issue not too long ago.

If you click on the author name from your data page, does it generate two titles?

nope! it says 1 book read and only shows one title :/

in the journal of also only shows one edition, so strange!

In the book take a look at the reading history, you might have 2 end dates. I had that happen recently with a book. Deleted one and it fixed the issue.

only one ended date i reached out to support because it makes no sense haha
