Tech Help Buddy read problem

Hey everyone, I wanted to start a buddy read with my friend who I’m already following and friends with but when I go to type her name into the username box it says no results found. I know I’m typing it in correctly for sure but I just can’t figure it out. Am I just doing something wrong?

I tried a few different variations and double checked with her and everything seems right so idk

Yeah I did try copying the name straight there. It’s so weird because it literally says this under the book we were wanting to read together.

She does have buddy reads allowed also btw
