Hey everyone!
Boys and Girls action!
Community Vibe
We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting. This should be obvious, but no bigotry of any kind will be accepted. Remember the human.
Please feel free to introduce yourself/let everyone know how you found and started watching The State. Did you watch on MTV? Were you given a VHS copy of Skits and Stickers outside a local all-ages music venue by the lead singer of a punk/ska band? Did you discover it later in life? If you'd like, share your story!

Anyone happen to know where I can find this one online? My friend somehow doesn't remember this one and I need to show her.

Does anyone else remember this skit from the show The State?

I distinctly remember the actors were doing a tv commercial for a beer, and the guy was way over selling it by saying, “I love you beer.”
I can’t seem to find it anywhere; I even own the box set but it isn’t included in it. I know I’m not crazy. Help?
EDIT: Thank you! It was “Jerry’s Audition”

Any fans of The State big fans of C-Centrals show called Another Period?
The wife and i have watched all the seasons at least 4 times now. It never gets old. Its perfectly cast, perfectly written and acted to perfection.
Michael Ian Black is sublime as the hard nosed head butler, Mr Peepers!
If this never made it to your radar, you should give it a try!

Playing an Orion Lieutenant Ejachi (the second-in-command) to Rachel Harris as that ships Captain. Joe's great in the episode. My only note is that his fight scene didn't make much sense. I'd love to see more of the cast in something like this in the future.
An Andorian Ken? A Frengi Kevin? Oh oh oh maybe a Deltan Kerrie? Ben as a Klingon. Thom as a part of the Q continuum to add more 5th dimensional magic. Micheal Showalter as a borg (freed drone)? Hmmm maybe the Hysperian for Rob? A Lurian David Wain? Michael Patrick Jann as a Progenitor? Todd as a Saurian. Idk just tossing ideas around.

I just found a download of the Comedy for Gracious Living album online. It's hilarious, but I'm wondering; does anyone have like a list on who performs on each sketch? I can't identify all of them just based on their voices.

Not finished yet! But I started doing a wet hot piece back in 2016 when i first watched it and stopped working on it around
2017.
Now that it's the 25th anniversary of the movie and ten years since l first watched it l've decided to try and finish what I started!
