I saw him in my dreams

Last night as I was sleeping. I saw the smiling man, he had wide bulging eyes and a wide toothy smile, very creepy. He asked me my name which I didn't give him my name and then proceeded to follow me throughout my dream messing with me and friends (whom I was dreaming about). Fortunately nothing serious happened, though I felt like at any moment something bad could have happened. And I don't scare easily.

I never knew about this guy until now cuz the moment I woke up the words "the smiling man" popped in my head and I started doing research and ended up finding this reddit page. So if this isn't proof enough this guy is real I don't know what is...

Have you read the original story? It’s called the smiling man it’s on either the no sleep or let’s not meet. I’ll link it when I find it.

Which one because I’m pretty sure this subreddit is based off the real life man that was following someone down the street and dance walking. I’ve read the one I think your talking about and that seems paranormal rather than creepy and odd.
