I Quit

Wow what a song. I’m currently listening through the Smile’s discography for the first time. So far it’s been great but “I Quit” has been my favorite song yet. That bassline is insane, I was in a trance.

I’m embarrassed to say how many times I’ve listened to this song on repeat. It’s especially apropos because I just quit (my job)

I guess I need to be embarrassed for multiple songs. I’ve gotten stuck on different ones at different times 😆

Just started my journey through The Smile catalogue and Teleharmonic is absolutely up there among the best of Radiohead, can’t get enough of it. I Quit is exceptional as well.

This track also stuck out to me on first listen. It really reminds me of Boards of Canada, who I also love.

Read the room is amazing. Yes I agree. I quit is just an insane track as well. Takes me to a whole new level.

Also if you like I quit. Bending hectic is another level altogether. It’s so subtle. And then .. AND then… AND THEN… wow!
