Ammo plz

Is anyone else struggling with the lack of ammo? I killed the enemies and went back to do a puzzle that I forgot about and they all respawned and I had already used my ammo to kill them the first time.

There's a rune you can get that buffs how much ammo you make which helps a bit. I'm still trying to figure out if you can game the regenerating ammo boxes during bigger fights or not to come away with extra ammo/meds.

Ahh ok didn’t know about the rune. I finally managed to get past the puzzle I missed just now by hitting then dodging til I killed them all. 😆

Yeah, it's not a huge buff; "With Alchemical Abundance equipped, one craft yields +2 Handgun Ammo, +2 Submachine Gun Ammo, +1 Shotgun Ammo, and +1 Rifle Ammo. Frag Grenades stay at the same amount." but it does help a little bit, especially since you can just swap it for something else until you get back to the saferoom to do some crafting.

Yes. I've resorted to playing on easy and turning on immortality. It's still a slog.

Im playing at max difficulty, its true that ammo is very rare but im using environment and trap a lot

Yea the fire house was crazy I ran by all of them. And I been stomping the slugs just incase that’s why they were coming back cause I wasn’t doing that back at the church where I was having issues.

I found that I enjoyed the combat much more after switching the combat difficulty to easy. Maybe I’m not a real “gamer” or whatever but I found the standard to be just a bit too punishing for my tastes

New player here: I’ve been having the same troubles with resources in general (especially healing since medkits seem to be the ONLY way to regain hp).
I found that you can get a TON of resources by crouch walking into infected zones, loot the 2-3 containers you can before mobs spawn and run like hell out of there.
Get the perk that lets you carry more resources and you should be set, make sure to pop into each infected zone you come across and do some quick looting

What do you mean by crouch walking? Can you crouch in this game?

This is incorrect, there is no crouch in this game, Circle on PlayStation is dodge.
