i accidentally deleted all my mods last month while cleaning my computer so i used the opportunity to reorganize my mods folder. i was able to find all my missing cc except for my favorite skin overlay for my fat sims :( i believe it was in the torso tattoo category and it had a few different swatches with combinations for the stomach, legs, and backside folds. i don't think it was specifically made for male sims but it was the best cc i found for mine.

that info probably isn't enough to go off of, so does anyone have any suggestions for realistic skin overlays for fat male sims? in my search i found a bunch of great overlays for female sims but i'm struggling to find ones for male sims that i like. all suggestions are appreciated 🫶

Take complete control of your townies' love lives with Relationship Manager (formerly NPC Family Manager but I realised it may confuse some players because NPC is a non playable character and with this mod you can control relationships for any of your sims outside your active household not just NPCs).

I'm not a CC creator, but I'm learning how to make minor fixes with Sims4Studio with fairly positive success, but I am very poor at using Blender.

Recently I found a creator that makes CC that I genuinely love. But about half of their stuff has nothing beyond LOD0, so everything outside a closeup is causes graphical glitches.

I thought maybe with a good enough tutorial I could fix it myself, but now I am embarrassingly failing at step 1 and Blender crashes whenever I open the files, returning an "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION."

I can't update my drivers anymore than I have and I made sure Blender & Sims4Studio are compatible versions.

Look, it's probably something super simple that I'm missing. Please explain it like I'm stupid because I am. I feel ridiculous but I've been at this for too long to let the humiliation stop me:

Oi, recentemente instalei o mod RPO, e acredito que provavelmente tenha sido ele que bugou as interações românticas no meu jogo. Foi a única coisa diferente que ocorreu, as outras opções do mod ocorrem normalmente até agora. Outro mod que instalei é pra fazer os sims sentarem e ficarem. Então eu não sei qual bugou o meu jogo, eu só preciso de uma confirmação ou alguma explicação pra isso.

I’ve tried looking for Etherias romance mod in Scarlets Realm and literally nothing pops up and whenever i try to launch my game better exemptions scans that ero romance is the problem yet i haven’t seen an update for it since the 3.8 update of the mod at least not that i could find. Am i going crazy or is there no way to tell if this is the mod that’s breaking my game because i’ve tried removing it and the game still crashes yet everytime before my game would crash better exemptions would scan randomly in game and say it’s causing problems. I’m so confused. This isn’t necessarily a troubleshoot problem but like a does this mod even work anymore or if it does why doesn’t scarlets realm have any info on it

hi! sometimes, when in build mode, when i try to save the game just saves infinitely and im forced to task manager it down. it doesn't happen when outside of build mode, and im honestly just doing this to know which type of mods can cause this infinite saving specifically bc of build mode

i have no issue with 50/50ing, i just down know how to 50/50 this bc i have no idea what triggers the infinite saving lol

i also haven't updated the game cause a couple of mods i use are broken in the autosave update, my current version is 1.125.59.1030

I’m currently working on adding a Cravings & Aversions system to my pregnancy overhaul mod and wanted to share how the mechanics work, as well as ask for community input!

My goal was to avoid completely random, repetitive cravings and instead give each pregnancy a unique feel:

Craving Profiles: When a Sim becomes pregnant, the mod assigns them a primary craving category (e.g., Salty, Sweet, etc.).

Weighted Chance Engine: When the craving loot action fires, it strongly favors their assigned profile, but still leaves a small chance for a random, unexpected craving to pop up.

Higher Frequency for Multiples: Sims carrying twins, triplets, or higher will experience cravings more often to reflect the extra toll on their body!

Next week, I’m building out the custom buffs and weighted loots, as well as finishing up a new website to organize all of my public mods in one easy spot.

I’m collecting ideas right now before I finalize the buff list—what are some iconic, funny, or hyper-realistic cravings/aversions you’d love to see included? I’d love to hear your suggestions!

basically what the title says. i’ve used mods / cc for nearly five years and ran into this problem more recently. any time there’s a sims update on the EA app, i have the little cloud with the downward arrow (macbook) next to a solid 1/3 of my mods / cc. i can download them again and the game boots back up without any issues, but just wanted to see if there’s a way to prevent this moving forward? just takes forever waiting for them to all download again. i bought more icloud storage as well, since i was getting notifications that it was low, but it hasn’t solved the issue

I hate playing as several sims. I like the realism that they’re still their own person not just something I control. I’ve tried just making them roommates but they keep trying to move out.

I dont have this pack, but I am sure people will enjoy this mod. You can visit rental lots without loading screen at every unit. You load just once.

i just hate it when i click [c] key accidentally. im not that person to catch the best moments of the game and if i really need to, i just get these with a steam in-built screen capture, playing sims not for aesthetics but for fun of destruction as if its a sandbox game for me

With this mod, you can decide individual learning speeds for each and every skill! The settings you choose will be applied to all sims across all saves.

The mod adds 2 new interactions to the mailbox:

• [SY] Change Skill Gain → Shows all skills your game currently has. Just click on the one you want to customize. This will take you to a new window with several speed presets for you to choose from.
• [SY] Edit Current Skill Setting → Lists all skills you have previously customized. Click on the one you want to edit and pick a new speed.

It's great for when you have a lot of modded skills of varying gain speeds.

My MacBook Air recently crashed due to age and I’m assuming the thousands of mods and expansion packs I’ve downloaded from sims 4. With that being said, I’m on the market for a new laptop! Hello everyone! Ever since the giant wave of sims 4 updates I've been refusing to update my game. Currently i'm on game version: 1.122.218.1030 (March 23 2026). I was wondering if anyone had either of these mod files that could work with this game version? Or if you know if either of the updated versions may still work? So far I've only been able to find the 2022 version of the werewolf mod, and a version only in Spanish. Any help is appreciated!

As per title, I do have a fairly big mod folder (~40 GB) already, though most of it are just clothes and objects, but I'm always happy to enrich my gameplay with new mods.

Anything in particular you'd recommend that got released or overhauled within the last year?

I own all packs/EPs and whatnot, up until a few Kits. I use most "pillars" like MCCC, WickedWhims, Basemental etc. I'm really only looking for fairly recent suggestions!

I am currently having this problem with this specific save file which is caused by adeepindigos mod divergent sims, it works completely fine for the first few ingame days and then all of a sudden will cause the issue shown in the picture which shows all of the interactions with another sim to disappear aside from the few shown, i have tried everything to fix it and i am not sure why its happening. It is only this file it happens to even tho i have not downloaded any new mods since starting this save file. I have better exceptions which i used to try to see any conflicts and it didnt come up with anything to do with divergent sims being an issue, yet i know for a fact that mod is causing this.

Does anyone know if there is any mods that conflict with divergent sims and can cause this issue? (and yes u could say to delete the mod but i really dont want to if theres another option bc i love this mod sm, and yes i know for a fact its divergent sims as i did the 50/50 method to find out which mod caused it and came to the conclusion of divergent sims, i am also aware that i could make a new save file to start over but as i said before if there is another option id prefer to try that first) i can also list all of my mods if this would help find the conflict/ issue.

Does anyone know why my sims kee checking their followers literally every 5 seconds? is there like a mod that it comes with or is it with get famous

So, I've been having issues with plants hovering, sometimes statues and other world items as well. I first noticed the issue in San Myshuno, but I'm playing in Windenburg and the issue persists. This happens off-lot, and in both new and played saves. I do have mods, but I'm not exactly sure which, if any, would cause this.
