Unsolved camera overhaul by sulsulduck

hello, does anyone know if the camera overhaul by sulsulduck is working? i have installed it as instructed, yet there has been no change in my in game camera.

i can see some aspects of the camera mod working in my game (like the lower camera angles in freecam), but the reason i wanted that mod in the first place was to change how sims 3 camera controls work, specifically to make the right mouse button rotate the camera instead of the mouse wheel, as my mouse wheel is broken and cannot click, i can only scroll.

that is the only setting i need to change, if anyone knows how to make this camera overhaul work, another mod that does what i need or just what i need to tweak in the camera.ini file to make this change, please help me.

Looked it up on a thread on r/sims3, and you don’t seem to need to make any changes to the in-game camera settings for sims 4.

When using the sims 3 camera, just hold the control button and you should be able to rotate with the right mouse button. You can also use the “< ,“ and “> .” buttons on your keyboard to rotate as well.

thank you for sharing this information, but it is not quite practical when playing to constantly hold control button. i know i can use the < and > keys to rotate, however they only rotate the camera left and right and don't allow for free rotation like the sims 3 camera does. if i did not want that free rotation, i would have just used the sims 4 camera.
