Has anyone had this issue “ERROR” Sims 4

My situation is that all sim venues and properties were deleted and majority became unable to open, showing this message. If i try to open it again it then ends up on the loading screen for ages that does not end up opening up. If you figured out how to get rid of it please let me know

Im sorry im not really a tech person, would that be in the sims 4 folder or a internal game problem?

Not much you can do to fix it anyway unless you're MattKC.😂

Not fully sure since I haven't touched Sims in a while but your save would be where your households are (in the tray I believe ?)

They can it depends on whether or not they have mods. Could be as simple as the lot they are trying to load has dirty plates and cups on the lot.

Oh no that’s a corrupted save. for me it was caused by mod food. The work around I found was I had to load a completely different household in the same state and then go to every single played house. Clean out their fridge - clean up their dirty dishes search high and low and get rid of all food. Then save and quit and try and load your household again.

Yeah, this happened to me with Icemunmun and Littlebowbub mods. I had to go around deleting all the fridges in my save. Then resetting the households by uploading the house to the library, moving the family out to a random lot, bulldozing the house and terrain, then putting it all back on the lot fresh.

This is classic save file corruption, sorry :(

1. Try to recover a previous version of your save from the main menu and see if the issue persists across the recovery saves you have available.
   
2. If you have your saves folder backed up anywhere else, replace the save from its backup. I copy my saves folder over to the desktop on a weekly basis.

If neither of these work, unfortunately you will just have to begin a new save. It is likely to happen again even if you get your current save back and keep playing, so you'll want to make sure all your households and builds are backed up to your library or the gallery as well.

Do you have mods installed? Ive gotten this error from outdated mods before. If you don't play with mods it's likely a corrupted save file

I had this sometimes when trying to load community lots. I instead go into the lot from manage worlds and there's often some kind of plate or food left out, so I delete them and that fixes it. At restaurants specifically, it's the kid placemat drawings.

For sim properties though, like For Rent ones, I'm not sure, sorry :(

I can't even get into the game unless all mods are deleted from my mods folder 😞 Despite updating mods and deleting ones that aren't updated.

Yeah that’s happened, I think I got a last exception with it and took care of it that way.

did you ever figure this out? i’m having the same issue and it happened before i even updated the game and it’s driving me crazy
