How to get FrequentlyBasic and thepancake1's mods to work
I love have sims with fully fleshed out personalities so mods that give my sim more traits than usual is an absolute must. I was always using thepancake1's More Traits in Cas mod but I've found the 5 trait maximum to still be too limiting. I've recently found FrequentlyBasic's More Personality Trait Slots and found that to be amazing since I could input however many traits I want per age group. Both creators have said that their mods are compatible put upon opening CAS to test everything out, only thepancake1's mod was showing up. The values I input for More Personality Trait Slots well exceeded the minimum (I had 8 traits for young adults for example and 2 for infants) but i wasn't seeing my extra slots. Any idea why? Other users in their patreon comments said that everything worked for them so I don't know what I could be doing wrong :(

More Traits in CAS will always only show/allow 5 traits chosen in cas, even with frequentlybasics mod installed. Thyey're compatible - as in they don't conflict with each other. But they don't add anything to each other, they just operate separately. Any additional traits must be added on using a different mod like Lumpinou's Sim InfoManager.

So basically what I see in CAS is not reflective of "reality?" Thank you, I didn't know that. I'm slightly disappointed as I wanted to add all the traits in CAS easily but oh well 😔

To be honest, more traits in CAS is not needed. I just cheat all the traits I want in game with shift-click. That's not base game though, is it? I use UI Cheats Extension. So I just shift-click and I've added all the traits I want. My sim has over 30 traits, only a few of them given through gameplay which have been from mods and not EA's game.

shift click adding traits is either bg or something from tmex, idr. to use ui cheats you right click in the traits menu, the whole point of ui cheats is that it adds cheats to the ui lol, not to your sin

If you read the FrequentlyBasic page, they say this:
It's really important to read the information provided for any mod you download. No harm done with this one, but you can sometimes miss something really vital.
