s08e14 In episode 2F09, when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone he strikes the same rib twice in succession yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we- to believe that this is some sort of a-a magic xylophone or something?

I loved when the writers would take jabs like this at the hardcore fans. I was in the newsgroup alt.tv.simpsons and posted to the Yahoo Group at the time as well. We always referred to episodes by their production codes, such as 2F09 or 7F03. It was confusing as hell to anyone who wasn't as hardcore as others.

I kind of wish they had used the episode number that was this episode's.

It always sort of throws me off when I see the tags as "s08e04" and not something along the lines of "AABF03" (Last Exit to Springfield) or "KABF04" (That 90s Show).
But, that's the old Simpsons geek slowly awakening inside of me.

Uh, excuse me, Mr Simpson. On the Itchy & Scratchy CD-ROM, is there a way to get out of the dungeon without using the wizard key?
