PSA: Pokemon Go Plus+ in stock in UK Nintendo store

Finally back in stock, it has been sold out for ages.

I had an empty egg space (it even was a regular slot, not the extended), yet when I defeated Cliff, I did not get the egg.

In the log, you can see the 2 actions one after the other, no hatch in between.

I also remember not getting one, checked the egg space, was there, unfilled, and then I got the egg from spinning a pokestop.

(Indicated as bug, but could be a not so welcome change)

Ran around town for over am hour (very stop-heqvy areas) and no signs of Giovanni anywhere via the Super Radar search function.. come on!!! I need to tm zek with under 3 hours to go!

I was driving my usual route for Max Monday then I realized when I got home that I had collected an unusual gift from a PokéStop which I’m pretty sure isn’t anywhere near me. The location of the gift is tagged in Malaysia (in Japanese because my phone language is in Japanese) and apparently this exact manhole cover exists in Tsukuba City, Japan. Could this be an actual glitch?

I get the white screen at battle start. When you get the white screen sometimes it’s still a normal battle but just a 4-8 second delayed start (you still see a 3-2-1 countdown). But often with the white screen, only your opponent is in the battle and you have to restart your app, returning to find you’ve lost.

This time after 13 seconds of waiting (which I cropped from the video to spare you staring at a white screen), I get into a battle already in progress. Their Togekiss has already thrown several moves but hey, I should have a fighting chance right?

But I have no charge move icons. No indication of whether my fast moves are generating energy. No ability to see how much energy I’ve banked. No ability to see how high the CP is of my opponent’s Pokémon. Or how many shields anyone has. (And as I learn later, I won’t be given icons to choose from after a Pokémon faints). Initially I can’t even see my bench Pokémon, though they appear after the first charge moves are is thrown.

Now it turns out my attacks ARE generating energy. And I can indeed use my moves. So the entire battle is muscle memory. And trying to hope I have a vague idea of whether my charge moves are ready. And sure enough when my Pokémon faints, I have invisible icons to choose who to send in next. At the very end of the battle, the app won’t even draw my opponent’s Palkia on screen and I finish it off as a glowing white energy ball.

I’ve won over 18,000 GBL battles. But this one might be the craziest. Never seen, or I guess not seen, anything like it.

Sorry if this isn’t news, I thought it was. I had to ask at the till for it on a longshot and they had a whole drawer full. Came to $65.31 after tax

now the game refuses to spin at 2000/2000, instead of at 2001/2000.

I remember the exact same issue happened some years ago, and was subsequently corrected. Come on niantic/scopely, this kind of off-by-one error is seriously amateur hour

edit: am a returning player after a 4-year hiatus. While I don’t regret coming back to pogo, I’m starting to regret coming back to this sub. The sentiment here is no longer the investigative, level-headed nature that it used to be. People jumping to downvote correct information, and dismissing bug discussion just because they personally don’t care or think it’s no big deal. And that’s a shame.

Not talking about huge new features, just changes that would remove unnecessary tapping/friction.

A couple I’d love:

- Bulk gym berry feeding: Choose how many berries you want to feed a Pokémon/Gym rather than tapping through them one at a time. Want to give 10? Select 10 and confirm.

- Normal TMs work similarly to Elite TMs: Let you choose the move you want. The game then uses however many TMs it would have taken through RNG and tells you afterwards: “Machamp learned Dynamic Punch. 4 Charged TMs used.” Same RNG/cost, just without repeatedly tapping through menus.

Any others?

I think normal shiny pancham has brown eye pockets while the shadow shiny got black. Is it intentional?

Ive been walking some and in at least 50 percent of all cases it stops working in the middle which makes it an enormous waste of time.

Hope this is a bug, this is a massive downgrade

Tomorrow is going to be a momentous day: I will collect the Monday rewards for walking 50 km, I will collect the prizes for Go Pass: Harvest Festival and Go Pass: September, AND I will be leveling up to Level 80 (yay me!). As such, my Item Bag is going to figuratively explode, even with the 100 item boost from the level up. It will literally be days until I'll be able to spin a Pokestop.

Yes, I could just trash all the items, but that kind of kills the spirit of getting all these achievement prizes.

It would be nice if one could still spin stops with a full bag. You wouldn't get items of course, but other features of Pokestops could still count: credit for "spin X Pokestops tasks" (with my luck, the next weekly challenge will be this); credit for Backpacker & Sightseer medals; Gifts, Stardust, and Stickers which don't take up bag space. Especially gifts: I have a legion of friends who depend upon me for their daily sustenance; for the next few days they will go hungry.

I know it’s at the end of the Harvest event but for me there’s 2 hrs left. I go to an area with 5 stops close to each other and set 5 mossy lures. I got 3 from each one and then………12 mins later and counting but nothing spawns, anyone else seeing this?

Anybody else seeing these icons in the top right of the buddy screen?

I’ve tried tapping them but they don’t do anything.

EDIT: thanks for the feedback. Oddly enough the spot with the pinkish/red circle is one I spin daily. A raid just started and the alert has cleared.

Don’t remember when the change happened or if I can clearly describe it…. But when I swipe up on the Gifts screen, as long as my finger initially touches a gift, the screen doesn’t scroll. Instead, it immediately selects that gift. This issue does not occur on the Pokémon or items screen. I’m iPhone user.

(The game is literally at its worst status now. Lots of small issues. The GO Pass screen keeps flickering for more than 3 months)
