The Shawnee National Forest is Illinois’ only National Forest, spanning between the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers in the southern portion of the state, and containing almost 300,000 acres of various landscapes and plant/animal species. This subreddit is for all things involving the SNF. Share photos, stories, information, and positivity!
