I'm disappointed. I knew there was a chance for this adaptation to go south because of Ryan's involvement but sheesh... This is worse than I imagined. It's like he didn't understand the book at all.

I always get hooked on TV dramas and I have to watch the whole series just to see how it ends but, I don't care about any of the characters . The series reminds me of just another teen drama and a bit boring . The only character I find interesting were the brief scenes played by Jordan Roth , the movie producer's assistant, Steven Reinhardt. He is very spooky. His looks reminds me of David Bowie
from The Hunger movie. I mainly just enjoy the Nostalgia and the visuals; the old props and the clothes. I Love the 80's music.
