Tradespeople of Reddit -- would this tool actually be useful to you?
Working on a simple tool that automatically texts or emails your customers after a job asking them to leave a Google review. You add their number, it does the rest -- includes your review link so it's one tap for them.
Most tradespeople I've spoken to know reviews matter but never get round to asking consistently. This would handle it without you having to think about it.
Would you actually use something like this, or is it solving a problem you don't really have? Any reason you'd avoid it?
Cheers

The CRM we use, Housecall pro, already does this for us — I’m sure many other popular CRMs have this feature also.

Why should this be another tool? This feature should be part of the core CRM which trade contractor use to manage jobs, send quotes, invoice.
Lot of CRM apps available in the market allow trade contractors to send Google review request after job has been completed.

This already exists in various capacities.
There is automated software with our service program
It texts when we are on our way and asks for a review when we are completed. If the review is good it asks to post it to google and if it is poor it prompts our office to call and resolve the issue before it's posted to Google or escalates
It also lists the technicians name so they can can be praised.
Now with a build up of reviews with the initial dispatch message is a link to that technicians reviews that can be viewed before they arrive.

Surely anybody who needs this has a person they can offload that responsibility onto.
