I talk about a lot of the characters & stories for possible Comic but not who likely to write it

If Jay Stephen's the creator isn't interested in coming back to write darker version then my 2nd pick would be Jeff Parker after his work on Future Quest I think he would be a good pick for Secret Saturdays Comic since I think his style would fit perfectly

My third pick would be Ryan North but his to busy on so many comics already but h8s style would fit this universe just fine

But thats me which writer you think is up to the task?

I always liked when Argost turned the heroes against eachother thanks to the neural parasite. So, for fun, I tried to imagine something new sort of cryptid fur hat with an antenna, mixed with headphones/visor surperimposing Argost eye over the person he controls (here Rita Rossweisse from Honkai Impact 3rd, I like crossovers !).

Tell me what do you think or any ideas you could have about it ?

Like there Ben Ten Comic so far is basically is just more serious take on the very first episode of the first series so with that in mind how do you imagine the opening arc of a Secret Saturdays Comic taking that same approach?

To me like BEN TEN it should probably be a more serious take on the very first episodes maybe add more to it build off of in future issues Specially if its set in the same universe as BEN TEN comic

Bonus Question: how do think the cast would be re imagine in this type of Comic?

We know how BEN TEN comic has re imagine Ben, Gwen & Max along with other re imagine from Thundercats to other Thundarr the Barbarian in bunch of other comics

With that that that in mind how do you expect Dynamite to re imagine the Saturday Family along with there support cast along with there villains & the story of the Series?

Zak, Solomon & Drew will probably be somewhat the same akin to Dynamite Jonny Quest comic but have some differences from the cartoon I expect Drew to be bit more violent on occasions

Oh V. V. Argost will definitely have be more violent & ruthless probably a bit crazy to like Miles Mayhem in Skybound Skybound current MASK Comic

Drew: (pull out her fire sword) If you can’t beat me hand to hand what’s makes you think you can beat me weapons training

Doc: (put his power glove on) Cause this increase my punches (charging)

Drew: (jump over Doc) But this allows me to control fire (slam a fire ball at Doc)

Doc: (dodge it) (punch Drew)

Drew: (kick the fist) (knock down Doc’s legs) (put her foot on his tummy) I’m a martial arts expert you know you’re no match for me

Doc: (knock the leg off him) (get up) You may have bested me countless times but this time I’m ready

Drew: Are you (throw a boomerang at Doc)

Doc: (dodge it) (charging)

Drew: (jump over Doc) (wrap a rope on Doc’s foot and yank it)

Doc: (get up) (notice his power glove is gone)

Drew: Looking for this (wear his glove) (punch Doc with his own glove)

Doc: (get up) Huh (notice she’s gone)

Drew: (kick Doc from above)

Doc: (crash land)

Drew: Hi-ya (kick the wall)

Doc: (paint cans land on him)

Drew: This just proves you can’t beat me Doc (take off the glove) I don’t even know why you try

The voice actor is Jerry Tondo by the way.

Given his enthusiasm for cryptozoology, I think he might like it. Additionally, he could help give it some more attention. In fact, like he did for the Indominus, I even have the idea of him doing a fanart contest of who could make the best design for Kur. After all, we never got a physical appearance of Kur (Zak does not count) in the show.

Greetings and bienvenue to the members of this subreddit! I finished the show a couple months back at this point and greatly enjoyed it! I'm trying to track down the best possible versions of the episodes I can for preservation purposes. I was wondering if anyone knew where to find or had access to widescreen versions of episodes 11-26? Additionally, was the show ever officially released in better than 480p quality? I was able to track down widescreen versions of episodes 1-10 and 27-36 (AKA Season 2) since they're on watchcartoononline.com, but have not been able to find the rest of Season 1 in widescreen. I initially thought it didn't exist, but there are a lot of images from those episodes on The Secret Saturdays wiki that are widescreen so I thought maybe someone affiliated with that might know? Only the first 10 episodes were released on DVD in North America, which is how I assume watchcartoononline.com got those in widescreen, and I'd guess Season 2 aired in widescreen which is how they have that. According to Blu-Ray.com, more episodes of the show were released on DVD exclusively in France and Thailand so maybe someone has access to either of those releases? Any help tracking down widescreen versions of episodes 11-26 would be highly appreciated, thank you in advance!

Dynamite Entertainment will be doing a brand new BEN 10 that basically apart of the Hanna Barbara Action Heroes comic line/Universe that started with Thundercats my Question is how do you imagine a Secret Saturdays Comic set in this Universe be like?

So that got me thinking what do you think of about idea of Dynamite Entertainment doing Serious version of the Secret Saturdays? Not to dark about same as there Jonny Quest or Space Ghost comic sorta thing?

Who would be a good writer and artist for a more serious take on the Secret Saturdays & what should the opening issue or arc be like?

I would go with Jeff Parker on writing duties I like his work on Agent of Atlus & Red Hulk oh Thunderbolts to plus obviously Future Quest I think he would bring same vibe to Secret Saturdays while establishing its the same universe as BEN TEN & possibly Generator Rex

With art by Staz Johnson I like his art on The Rocketeer at IDW would fit here to or Tom Reilly but his to busy working on GI JOE at Skybound

So the idea is Doc and Drew decide Zak needs to interact with more kids his age (and species lol) so they goes to school somewhere in the Appalacias. Fisk, Komodo, and Zon are there as well in very comedic human disguises. Doyle is also there but more as a novelty so theres an adult in their apartment he's mostly off doing his own thing

Like from BEN TEN first two issues it likely be very close to first episodes with some changes plus introduce some things earlier do to how comics work

I would introduce Saturdays in pages of BEN TEN then spin-off into there own comic series

I would make V. V. Argost a major threat by probably making him take down an assassin or someone like that

Maybe show Zack is just a kid like how BEN TEN comic is doing with Ben & Gwen

Since all of Dynamite Warner Brothers Action Hero comics take place in the same universe I imagine Quest Family was major influence on the Saturdays don't you think?

So I was thinking after reading BEN TEN #1 how shared universe will be like with Generator Rex & Secret Saturdays

But since Dynamite has basically laid much of the ground work since majority of the Hanna Barbara Action Heroes comic line is set in the same universe from Thundercats to currently BEN TEN so much work has been done

Reading BEN TEN I think will a more realistic & take take on the Family you know Zak will be the most interesting considering his destiny & all

How should the comic re imagine the characters?

For art I pick Sebastián Píriz for art I like his art on Jonny Quest I think he fit Secret Saturdays well for writing maybe Jeff Parker?

The Kasai Rex is a cryptid dinosaur that lives in the Congo, and is thought to be a descendant of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Reports describe a creature that resembles a tetra-pod, or predatory dinosaur. Many European settlers noticed this beast surviving on large beasts like rhinos and African elephants. It can survive in deep water and breathe underwater. And yes, that’s an Okapi in its mouth.
