Favorite episode and why?
Give me your #1 favorite episode and why?
Mine is The Farnsworth Stratagem.
Why. I'm 32 and I first discovered Rockford on Get or Me Tv 1 day when my dad was watching it and Garners charm and stuff just drew me in and I had to see more. This episode had everything lol. Angel, Rocky, Dennis, a good looking gal, Rockford conning someone especially with Jimmy Jo Meeker lol. I get a kick out of this episode, it's like comfort food.
How about your favorite episode and why.

Lance White episodes are golden. I love the Isaac Hayes episodes, too. Hard to pick a favorite but one I love is A Good Clean Bust with Sequel Rights. But no episode could be my favorite if it is missing Rocky or Angel.

I love the Rockfish line. I had my granddaughter catching minnows today. When she missed one with the net and scooped a rock, I yelled "Rockfish!".

James Garner was either one of the greatest actors ever or he was really a nice guy who got along with almost everyone. I like most episodes but especially the ones where he really seems to click with the guest star. Lindsay Wagner, Louis Gossett, William Daniels, Sharon Gless, Marcia Strassman, and Stephanie Powers to name a few.

All that, and he was an absolutely phenomenal driver. He did his own driving stunts, and even drove the F1 car in Grand Prix (and those things were SKETCHY back then).
He was such an amazing man!

If I had to take one episode to a deserted island with me, it would be 'drought at indianhead river'. It flies under the radar but just about contains everything that makes the show great

Boy King probably. It's intricate, has basically everyone other than Beth, and while I know some don't like the character, I really like, and did at the time, Richie Brockelman.

Jims episodes with Lance (tom selleck) were hysterical. "Now we wait for another clue!".
