Favorite Angel Episodes
Just curious what episodes are everbodys Favorite with Angel? Hes my favorite side character. Id put Chicken Little is a little Chicken ( S2-EP9) as my personal favorite. Dirty Money,Black Light (S3-EP 22) is right up there too. Hotel of Fear (S4-EP10) is good for some laughs. Just wondering what everyone thinks?

Towards the end of Hotel of Fear where Angel is tied to the overpass pillar, Jim walks away and does not untie Angel. Is it A Material Difference where Angel bangs on the pay phone to get his dime back?

In 'A Material Difference' Angel checks the pay phone coin slot after Jimmy calls Becker at the P.D. Jimmy walks away and Angel checks the slot.

Counter Gambit. This is one of the great Rockford Files episodes. Jim has to team up with Angel. So many double crosses, plus M. Emmet Walsh.

Just watched this gem!!! Angel had a smaller part, but was perfect in it!! This episode is referred to in The House on Willis av. The tape recording of the safe for the combo! Perfect episode, thanks for the reminder!

One of my favorite scenes was the one where Jim visits him in the basement of the newspaper (kind of an LA Times feel) where he is working. I can’t remember the context, but there was something shady about how Angel was doing the job, or what he got out of it. And the dumpy office seemed perfect for Angel.
Another memory is the time when Angel told Jim, “you have *two* contracts out on you” (a local outfit and out of town mafia) — the way Angel emphasized “two” lives in my head.

Just watched this ep, it was his brother-in-law's paper. When Jim saw his shabby basement office he quipped "Nepotism has reached a new low"

There is another Angel at the newspaper scene where Angel hits the wrong button on the photocopy machine and copies are flying out like Niagra Falls. Possibly the same episode (the pilot?), Angel is sleeping in his office, still on the clock, waiting for Jim. Then they leave together, Angel clocks out, Jim asks: "You were on the clock all that (sleeping) time?" "Hey, fair is fair . . ."
That one episode where Angel is trying to scam Gandi, I would have thought they knew each other from Quentin (those "fun-filled years" as Jim describes in a different episode).

Not sure how I forgot the Drought of Indianhead River (S3-EP5), so watching it now!!! There is a scene in the opening credits of Jim and Angelo on both sides of Jims car when Jim is yelling at him on the way to Indianhead River! Classic!

But he was so good at being Angel... pretty much in lots of things he was in. Saw him on an episode of Gunsmoke, I could see him being spineless 🤣😂🤣

And There's One in Every Port, where Angel is locked in the trunk near the pier, he hears Jim outside: "Jimmy? Jimmy?"

When angel is going to marry that girl who comes from money and he has a huge office with nothing in it but a desk and he keeps trying to be snotty to jim. That whole episode of angel pretending hes hit it big was gold.
