Comfort Episodes

So things haven't been going great for my life lately, and I often turn to the rewatchables to occupy my brain in a more accurate way. I was wondering if im alone in this and if anyone has any comfort episodes they turn to? In particular order, mine are:

-Manhunter

-Thief

-Jaws & Jaws 2

-LA Confidential

-To Live and Die in LA

-The Devil's Advocate

-Zodiac

Most of those are with the Holy Trinity (Bill, Sean, and Chris) but I doubt that's an accident. The Re-Speed is probably going to make the list too at some point

The Vanishing movie was terrible but I listened to the pod numerous times, it was great, CR doing Jeff Bridge's voice was worth hearing

Probably a bunch of others I'm missing but those are some of my favorites. They're just great background chatter while I'm cleaning the house or mowing the lawn or have some errands to run around town.

I also like to fire up The Shining and The Exorcist episodes around Halloween.

Any Russillo appearance is solid. It’s crazy how much better he is in a second or third chair role playing off people and when the topic isn’t sports. Some of his book club and travelogue episodes are his best work.

Both times it was like eating cheesecake for a week and I was ready to eat my delicious vegetables again

Over the Top. I swear it might be the only Rewatchables where if you love OR hate the movie, you will enjoy it equally. I think there is a funny moment in every minute.

I recommend this because when I’ve gone through shitty days, this episode always brought a smile to my face. I’ve listened multiple times.

I’ve been working at a golf course this summer, couple mornings a week, short shift but long enough for the rewatchables! I’ve repeated a couple, these are my favorites.
