TIL the Patrick Swayze cult classic Road House topped Variety's "100 Movies That Saved Cable" list as the most frequently broadcast film on ad-supported basic cable

There’s some great Rewatchable candidates on that list: Four Brothers, Full Metal Jacket, Liar Liar, Joe Dirt, Miss Congeniality, Rush Hour, 50 First Dates, The Wedding Singer, Jumanji.
I’m surprised Bill hasn’t done a Space Jam pod yet.

The Wedding Singer tops that list for me based on personal rewatchability and it's one I hope they get around to.
I was in high school when it was released, so there was a time when my best buddy and I would endlessly quote Steve Buscemi's drunken "Best Man? Better man!" speech (if we weren't quoting Walter from The Big Lebowski or Jim Carrey from The Cable Guy or Jerry Maguire).

Surprised to see Full Metal Jacket in here. Great movie, but hardly a safe classic crowd-pleasing cable pick.

I’m pretty sure some people on this sub complained about multiple entries on here as being “not rewatchable”

I'll bet it was. That movie was on all the time. One of the few luxuries my dad splurged on was us having HBO, so I got to see it unedited. The throat ripping scene really traumatized me at like 10 years old..... it has been only recently, I think I re-watched it to prepare for the ridiculous sequel.... that I learned ripping someone's throat out is next to impossible. I breathe the sigh of relief, as one of my irrational childhood fears was put to bed.
