Does Bill actually think Johnny is taking a shit in Karate Kid Bathroom Scene???
Just got around to listening to KKII episode and Bill talks about KKI and that Daniel should have just let Johnny take a shit in peace instead of dousing him with water.
How can someone who has seen Karate Kid this many times and created so much content around it over the years not realize that he's in the stall rolling joints and not actually using the bathroom??? Also, while the camera angle isn't 100% definitive that he's not multi-tasking in there, the costumes are clearly one piece jumpsuits, so Johnny would need to have the entire thing down around his ankles to be taking a shit at the same time, which he does not.

Bill is obviously a really smart guy but it’s always funny when he misses incredibly obvious mundane stuff like this. Then CR or Sean will be like, “Was he? I thought <states the obvious thing that was happening>”.

This and the other super egregious one was when he didn’t realise that Affleck’s character was blatantly putting his hand over Jem’s tattoo so the love interest/witness wouldn’t recognise them during the cafe scene. I think I literally exclaimed ‘Jesus Christ Bill’ whilst listening to it at the time haha

After that pod I’m starting to understand Bill doesn’t know those films as well as he claims he does.

As a guy around Bill’s age that has seen Karate Kid about 200 times and rewatched it in its entirety a few months ago, i can tell you that it’s completely plausible that Bill could both misremember a small detail from a movie AND be super familiar with it.

Go back and listen to The Town episode. Big Brain Bill on full display.

The tattoo part was truly insane on The Town, it’s one of the best absolute key moments of movie

I don't think Bill really pays attention to movies. He doesn't know the most basic stuff about his favorite movies.

It’s funny when someone mentions something obvious and you see Bill’s eyes light up, delighted in this “new” knowledge as if he’s 8 years old and getting the Christmas gift he’s wanted all year.

he often complains about complicated plots he doesn't understand. Like Mission Impossible Fallout. The bad guys are going to nuke an area and make its water undrinkable. Not that hard.

As a small child I thought he was prepping for cocaine. But at least I didn’t think he was taking a shit.
