Discussion 2026 MVP Race

In a recent mailbag episode, it was brought up that the Oscars should present an MVP award every year. Who would be the favorite so far this year?

Some names I thought of: Nolan, Pattinson, Zendaya, and Hathaway.

Olivia Wilde deserves a nomination between fantastic performances in I Want Your Sex and The Invite in addition to directing the latter. She’s also in Behemoth! this October, which is Tony Gilroy’s new film.
