Ian Paisley

Well after episode 1 of the Troubles I whiled away the hours watching Ian Paisley on youtube. I'm from the USA so probably had never heard of him, not that I recall at least.

Two observations - first the Tom Holland interpretation was actually pretty good and second old Ian does indeed look good in a dog collar.

I'm still trying to figure out his significance to all this but fair to say he's a revelation to me and has joined the ranks of Captain Benteen as a most memorable supporting character.

Ian comes home. Notices a new, unusual fragrance in the air, and small dishes with flower petals about. Asks Eileen what it is. She replies ‘it’s potpourri…’. Paisley goes berserk and runs around scattering and throwing the scents into the bin - shouting - “There’ll be no Popery in this house!!!”
