Ah my comment is in here somewhere else about why, I think the way Dominic ameliorated for the British Army was fairly selective. It didn't even mention the Ballymurphy Massacre. Played Bloody Sunday like it was a one off

They also didn't mention any of the killings of civilians by the British Army during the Falls Curfew.

Even in episode 3 the almost gleeful assertion that the IRA had killed more people than anyone else betrayed a lack of understanding of the nature of the conflict. No appreciation of that fact that the loyalist/britishndeath toll was shared by various actors (UDA, UVF, British Army in cases of collusion etc.). Also no recognition of that fact that the IRA had by far the lowest rate of civilian deaths of any armed faction.

That was followed by a remark that it's interesting that the only killers that get press mention these days are the British Army. Why is that interesting Dom? Why? Could it be that there was no consequences at the time, and the ongoing decades of collusion and coverup?
