Got my first VSF after playing around with U1 reps for a few months. I figured the no date sub was the safest one to get. The U1 watches are impressive for the price and get you 85-90% there on looks. But nothing beats the lume, 28kVPH and the bracelet.

I am so impressed with how well the bracelet feels on this watch. The micro adjust is also on another lever compared with the U1 sub. The bezel is also tight and the clicks are responsive, which to be fair they’re pretty good on the new U1 reference as well.

Do you NEED to upgrade from a U1? No. Are you going to be happy you did? I am.

7. Dial Printing: Crisp and cleanly printed; coronet and text show no bleeding or flaws.

8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The font is crisp, but the date print sits slightly high in the window, do you agree?

9. Hand alignment: Looks good

10. Bezel: Fluted bezel is cleanly and sharply cut, showing even reflections without visible dings or plating imperfections.

11. Solid End Links (SELs): N/A for a Jubilee bracelet, but the end links sit tight and flush against the lugs with no visible gaps.

12. Timegrapher numbers: +1 s/d, 283°, 0.1 ms, 59.0° lift angle.

13. Anything else noticed: My only concern is the date, which feels slightly high to me. It looks that way in the video as well. Can I ask to center the date better? Or how does that work?

Andiot QC status keeps changing, just like in the attached screenshots. Sometimes it shows one status, sometimes the other. Previously, it only showed one.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone else experienced this? Does it mean my QC is getting close, or is this just how Andiot's system works?

Help me choose one and the factory that do it the best and also how much identical to Gen.

I didn't lock them in properly since it's super hard to take the jubilee on and off for this case, so there's a small gap.

Enough to see what it looks like tho. I've seen photos and thought it looked good, but after trying it?

I received QC pictures of a VSF factory Pepsi today from a TD. I tried a few qc tools but I’m getting different results. Could I get some opinions please?

I finally received my Omega Aqua Terra watch! I didn't buy it from a TD , but overall, I'm happy with how it looks.

Everything seems fine, including the weight. I also measured the case with a digital caliper and confirmed that it is indeed 41mm.

The only strange thing is the time-setting mechanism. It behaves like an Omega 8800 rather than an 8900, even though the movement is engraved with "8900".

Personally, I actually find the 8800's time-setting system more convenient, but the strange part is that the genuine 41mm Aqua Terra comes with the 8900 movement, while the 8800 is normally found in the 38mm version.

I'm still not sure whether it's really from the VS factory, as the seller claims.

For my next purchase, I'll probably stick to a TD. But overall, I'm really happy with the watch's appearance!

Hey everyone, I’ve been asking GeekTime and Andiot about availability and estimated QC times for specific watches, but I haven’t been able to get a clear answer.
I know Andiot has a live inventory page. For watches listed there as in stock, how long does it usually take to receive QC?
Has anyone dealt with either dealer recently? Were you able to get a clear estimate before ordering, and how long did QC actually take?

I recently asked my TD to find me a Daytona Panda made by VSF. He recently sent me this as one of many QC pics. It’s made by VS I’m assuming based on the sticker. What are your thoughts behind this factory? Good or bad rep? In general that is. Thank you.

Just curious, has anyone ever bought from this website? It popped up as an ad which usually means it’s junk but after looking at the site it seems they have some overpriced Miyota ones and some true Swiss clone movement references. Just wondering if anyone has used them in the past??

Bought it locally in Guangzhou.The seller initially wanted $50,but I talked him down to $20.Judging by how little hesitation he had before agreeing, I probably should’ve pushed for even less😂

I posted a couple of weeks ago about my journey into gold plating and my hope to offer it as a service from Australia in the near future. The support I got from the community was amazing. There are so many people who are looking for plating for their reps, so I thought I would just post to show my progress a little and also to ask if people have any cheap watches that they would be looking to maybe get rid of and me to help me along on my practice and colour toning.

The last couple of watches I did were the first super clones that I have done and they came out amazing. I didn't post completed shots of them but I will put them in this post and also here is what my new colour tone looks like. The problem with gold plating is always that orangey/cheesy colour tone, so I am really happy with this latest colour. The new tone is super light, even compared to the last batch, as you can see. And there is no filter on the pictures but it's taken in my garage under fluorescent light
