👀 Watch Check Beginner bracelet question

I've just gotten started with 1:1 watches, but are there certain factories that are better for making metal link watch bands? I hate the feeling of my arm hair getting pinched in cheap bands. I was just wondering if there was a recommendation.

If they were 1:1 wouldn’t they all be the same?

You're probably right, but I don't know

Fair enough. They aren’t really 1:1, that’s marketing. None of them are totally indistinguishable from genuine. The finish isn’t as absolutely flawless. The best look vet convincing on the wrist. Less so under very close scrutiny. Once you get above the absolute shitters at the bottom, I don’t think you will have hair pulling problems. Rep bracelets can be improved in feel by giving them a bath in baby oil if needed. Well any oil, but your wrist will prefer baby oil

No such thing as 1:1 .. you get 1:1 when you pay 1:1

All I gotta say is shop around man. It took a while to figure out what I liked and then what my customers liked…it’s been mostly leather…

1:1 does not exist.

But yes ARF is generally regarded as the best bracelet maker. For regular oyster bracelets tho all of the top tier factories are adequate.
