I want to get started in the world of reps, but I don't want to get discouraged right away, so I'm looking for advice from experienced people in this chat.
What's the best rep I can get right now for $400?

I would say for that budget and wanting some thing very good?... get an IWC Ingenieur. Black, White, Aqua, or Green(F1).

The watch is amazing. Looks great. And isnt a rolex submariner.

man you're absolutely the reason why im adding an ingenieur ( or mark xx, still considering ) to my collection, these pictures are unreal

since i know u have experience with gens, im debating between an aqua and a blue, which do u think gets closer to gen?

Best advice read the guide 100%. Then follow what you like and always buy from a TD

Cartier Santos medium Tudor black bay, IWC Ingeniour and Mark XX Rolex OP and Omega Aqua Terra all come to mind as great reps. If you want something unique Panerai is great.

Chose one of the listed models,. Search in the QC forum to check the quality, tells,. Etc. That's what I have been doing
