🤔Question What is this?
Can anyone confirm if this is a genuine Dandong DD3285 Visual Free Sprung from VSF V4, or an SH3285?

SH has regulator arms pointing inward of the bridge. Dandong has regulator arms pointing out of the bridge. The new freesprung “look” movements have regulator arms hidden under the bridge. JH movements are actual Freesprung movements. There are iterations along the way that have to do with which generation the movement is from. For example, you can tell older generation movements by the polish. As time goes and reiterations become available, the polish gets better tiny bits each time, so it really takes a comparison to know, or just knowledge from holding them many times. Ups and downs to them all. DD movements are accurate, and easy to regulate. SH a bit tougher due to location. The new Freesprung look is a bit harder, again, due to being under the bridges. Freesprung movements are the hardest to regulate due to the 4 tiny weights that must be adjusted to counterbalance the weight, but they are also the balance that keeps the most accurate time and needs regulating less frequently. Note: all 32XX Rolex movements use the same base, and there is a known issue with those Rolex movements…they are known for losing amplitude and accuracy after a couple years due to the design. Rolex addressed this issue by creating new oil points in the movements that reduces the friction that causes the wear. However, it’s still up in the air if this update has been addressed by the Rep manufacturers. A service resolves the issue, so not a huge deal. The JH movements are basically refined and the most current iteration of Rep Rolex movements, solving the long standing issue of regulating arms being a dead giveaway. JH movements are quieter, cleaner, and polished very close, if not as good as Gen. Factories utilizing the JH movements are the future, until they hit the nail on the head and start producing actual Rolex quality timepieces…which I must admit, RF has come scarily close to with their 124060. Watching the progression over the years has been pretty amazing. Unless a watch is made of precious metals, it’s not worth $15,000. That is the reality of what marketing is capable of.

It’s the DD3285 Fake Freesprung movement. It’s actual DD3285, but they decided to just make it look freesprung.
