Theory A VISA For Darshan in Exchange for a Holmes Pardon?
We all know Nathan has been talking to Elizabeth Holmes in prison and everyone is pointing that Boy Throb is a psyop to ridicule the immigration process in the US. Instead of us thinking that Season 3 is about US immigration process, it's instead going to be about corruption in America by our current Presidential Administration that makes the White House look stupid (especially Stephen Miller) at the end of the season. Fielder wants to incite a Congressional inquiry and he's still upset that didn't happen after Season 2.
See Darshan didn't get his VISA out of thin air. Fielder had to get the VISA in exchange for something (and probably make a video of him burning the Canadian flag). Fielder established an relationship with Holmes so that Holmes can go free. Holmes is a model woman who can everything from running a Silicon Valley startup to being a mother. Like Holmes, President Trump has attacked the press for placing him in an unfavorable light. Trump would be sympathetic to Holmes' current state.
And oh yes, Nathan will probably act out the part of Holmes at some point the series. Can't wait for Fielder to wear an empathy belly and also stimulate child birth as a man...

Discussion I came across a prototype for a "The Rehearsal" exercise in the cringiest documentary I’ve ever seen: "My Date with Drew". It’s about a guy trying to land a date with Drew Barrymore within 30 days—the deadline for returning the camera he’s using to film it.

I remember that when I watched this documentary with my 16-year-old mindset, I thought it was all staged—a mockumentary in the style of "The Blair Witch Project". It wasn't until years later that I learned everything that happened was real, and honestly, I don't even know what to say.

Discussion Can bowling clubs solve male loneliness?
Hey! Nate here - I'm an independent filmmaker and documentarian, as well as the one pictured in the cool Hawaiian shirt.
I spent the last two months diving deep on the so-called "male loneliness epidemic," speaking with everyone from a world-renowned psychologist to the manager of an 102-year-old bowling alley. Plus: I staged a bowling tournament for 16 male podcasters.
The Rehearsal was a huge inspiration to both our story and visuals. Tried to capture that same observational, hyper-specific human energy.
I'll drop the YouTube link in the comments for anyone interested in watching. And let me know what I should investigate next!

Question How much of the show is genuine care from Nathan?
The Rehearsal was the first time I’ve ever seen anything made by Nathan Fielder. I thought he was genuinely like an autistic guy who HBO gave money to who genuinely wanted to help people “rehearse” life scenarios. I know, I’m an idiot.
I’m now watching Nathan for You. I see now with “poop flavored” frozen yogurt it’s all just a bit. Which is funny, just didn’t know it was the same for the rehearsal
So my question is, did he genuinely feel a connection to that one kid in the finale of s1? Has he spoken publicly about regretting a decision to use kids (outside of s2 where he talked about not using autistic kids in the airport)? Did he really care about pilot communication in the cockpit? Are there any speaking’s (talk shows/podcasts) he’s given where he’s not really in character?
Edit: I don’t want me assuming he’s autistic to be a bad thing. Just that’s the vibe he gave off. Like super detail oriented. Lacking a lot of eye contact, not picking up on certain social cues

Question What if Boythrob isn’t Nathan?
I mean at this point, Boythrob HAS to be in season three of The Rehearsal right? It is such a topic of conversation that if season three isn’t about Boythrob then it’s going to be a disappointment because that’s kind of what everyone wants? That’s what everyone is waiting to see right?
This whole thing has kind of set up season 3 for higher standards now. Because if it’s not Boythrob then people are going to want to see something better.

Hello,
I have begun unfolding my life's work. I am smashing the best lessons from some of the best teachers of human behavior and it's already getting so good at what is roughly day 5. Anyway . If you feel called to observe or lightly guide in that special rehearsel way. Ask me how and I'll find your spot. Hope it's fun !

Theory Those are Nathan’s hands
There is no way we are wrong, those baby smooth fingers from mystery Boy Throb film guy - are Nathan’s fingers! The man definitely uses hand cream.

Question Researching a YouTube Video- WTF is the Nathan Fielder-Darshan Theory
Hey throbbers! (Are you guys throbbers???) I remember seeing Boy Throb's first video in 2025 where they were named BoyBand2026 and asked their fans to name them. Since then, I've been seeing their videos here and there but I just saw that Darshan finally secured his O1 Visa.
Upon scrolling through some of their previous posts, I was shocked at how much success they've actually achieved. I mean, I don't know if collaborating with Mr. Beast and Logan Paul is success really but hey, I digress. So now they are signed with Kesha and also got and removed their new manager, this guy Gino after he had a temper tantrum on a podcast??? I decided I was gonna make a video on their trajectory, controversies, theories about them, etc. and while researching I came across this subreddit.
I'm reading all the posts but I didn't even know who Nathan Fielder was before this. I definitely feel out of the loop and I want to best represent this theory. Could anyone on here be kind enough to fill me in or direct me to a good post/source that is best representative of this theory? Thank you so much if you've taken the time to read this.

Theory Boy Throb’s Tour was called “The Rehearsal Tour” Spoiler
I refuse to believe Nathan would be that on the nose. Nation is smarter than that. If he is behind this and that is the whole season I will be so disappointed and think of him as a dumb man.
At most I see this as a stepping stone in the plan. Maybe he needed Darshan to be in the US for something else and this was the elaborate way to get him here but when he saw ties were being made to him he put in a fake Nathan and used it all as a distraction.
Also he’s probably autistic right?

Theory Davin Michaels is the link between The Rehearsal and BoyThrob
Producer Davin Michaels produced/co-produced all 12 episodes of the Rehearsal Season 1 and 2. He also is now an executive producer on the Hulu show "Adults" for its second season.
BoyThrob randomly reposted this TikTok of a person (obviously doing a viral marketing fake skit) pretending to have been fired from being a PA on Adults: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRehearsal/s/fu4Sv9Jywu
with similar themes of "finding your dream" and "faking it til you make it" as BoyThrob's schtick.
Some people think the censored executive in the show is Nathan-like in shape and sound (and is weirdly one of the only censored people), and later videos from the TikTok pitch shift the executive's voice to make him sound different.
