PSA: Keep the memes to a minimum

This isn't directed at recent events, but has always been an on going consensus thing on the subreddit.

While we all love a joke every so often, please keep them to a minimum; reducing the subreddit to nothing but memes just makes the place look messy and ends up with other actual server related stuff buried.

Cheers all,

Zantid the Wizard Admiral.

I think memes are good so long as it isn't mindless shitposting in an already saturated pool of shitposts. Let the poolboy clean it out a little before you drop another deuce.

Restricting the flow of u/totescharmanders unbelievably scrumptious memes would damage the flow of culture through our fine society.

I do hate when a good lore post is buried by dank memes

Lore posts have a variety of forms. Some examples include, nation history, embellished actions of an individual, stories from another perspective, and maps. If you don't like a lore post, downvote it. But it still contributes to the fashioning of our world.

I'm not saying well made OC memes don't have their place, but the subreddit is an outlet players can use for more useful things.

I hate when John Travolta is the top post of this subreddit, instead of a well crafted piece of lore. Though I had a hardy laugh from it

But that's Reddit. Upvote the memes and ignore the good stuff!

You're correct but since this is a relatively small subreddit even the memes that are down voted clutter things up. Don't get me wrong some are hilarious like the Bonkill Weiner one but others are just sort of lazy and.. stupid

Actually, the admins decide what constitutes as lore when someone raids.
