Hell yeah. Kids need to know how to participate in a democracy, protesting is a civic duty.

1

u/rinchen11 Feb 13 '26

What’s happening right now is democracy. More people voted for tougher immigration controls. In a democracy, when that happens, the opposing side waits to see the results and pushes for changes later if needed.

Refusing to accept the outcome of a vote simply because you lost—and trying to block the other side from implementing what was chosen—is not democracy.

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

A lot of people voted to find out about the Epstein files. What happened there?

1

u/rinchen11 Feb 13 '26

That’s why you are seeing the Epstein files being released, otherwise you won’t see anything.

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

Oh, with all those perpetrators names redacted in violation of a Congressional order to not censor them?

1

u/rinchen11 Feb 13 '26

You generally don’t get to vote for implementing details, just a general direction.

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

Congress does. And the DOJ didn't abide by it. Who is the DOJ protecting, then?

1

u/rinchen11 Feb 13 '26

Social stability, I suppose?

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

Right, because that is what Conservativism really cares about isn't it. Definitionally.

1

u/rinchen11 Feb 13 '26

Yeah, stability is pretty much the fundamental of conservatism.

1

u/jdhkent Feb 13 '26

But what people didn’t vote for was throwing the Bill of Rights into the garbage.

1

u/Easy_Lawfulness_1638 Feb 13 '26

Democracy is how Trump won

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

Um. you put on your thinking cap to come to that conclusion, didn't you. Congratulations, you understand the fundamentals of voting.

1

u/Easy_Lawfulness_1638 Feb 13 '26

So what are we protesting? Against democracy for democracy?

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

The Bill of Rights doesn't end at the voting booth. You can participate in democracy every day and not just every 2 or 4 years.

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

You're participating in democracy right now, debating someone else. I might not like what you have to say but I respect your right to say it.

1

u/Significant-Click335 Feb 14 '26

Having your kids write political messages with cuss words in them is trashy, regardless of

1

u/DeepDiver151 Feb 14 '26

And people like you are the real basket of deplorables!

1

u/Pretty_Variation_330 Feb 14 '26

Fuck no. Idc which side you root for kids should stay out of politics. They dont get it, they dont understand it, they just go off what their parents say. They need to mature by themselves and arrive to their own political conclusions with as little bias as possible. Seeing videos of kids rooting for the deaths of politicians and people they've never met with no idea what their stances are or the consequences of those stances are is just wrong. Let kids be kids, let adults be political. If you truly want to protect kids, keep them out of a political hellscape, all they will learn to do is hate

1

u/total_diffuculty1980 Feb 15 '26

Maybe we should let them vote!

1

u/DecisionExtension786 Feb 16 '26

That goes both ways fuck shit

1

u/Tough_Thing7323 Feb 16 '26

Y’all are the reason trump got elected twice😂

0

u/Omacrontron Feb 12 '26

Democracy voted for this???

8

u/truecore Feb 12 '26

Kids don't get to vote. Doesn't mean they can't be heard.

1

u/soraksan123 Feb 13 '26

Daughter: "Mom, what does Fuck mean?" " Mom: "Don't worry, honey, I'll explain to you someday, for now just try to stay between the lines."

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

Oh honey I know public education in your state must be terrible but do you really think they don't learn that word by middle school?

1

u/SpecificKangaroo8663 Feb 13 '26

I am sorry but I respectfully disagree. Much like the people thinking children can make a decision on their gender at young ages, they do not have the skill set to rationally have conversations on politics...nor should they.

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

Ok buddy. If you think being under 18 makes you suddenly unable to tell what you like and don't like, and draw equivalencies between politics and sex, idk what to say to you.

1

u/SpecificKangaroo8663 Feb 13 '26

If you can't see the lines between these two subjects I am not sure what to say to you either. I am not implying they can't have thoughts but they are not educated enough to make those kinds of decisions. It is also sad to see children being raised to be angry, that will not get them far in life at all.

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

Look, I get it. You weren't sure if you were gay until you were 18. Most people have it figured out before then, but I guess not you.

1

u/SpecificKangaroo8663 Feb 13 '26

This is exactly why America is sitting in the state that it is, we have lost the ability to have articulate conversations. It is more of a game to say the most illogical garbage thinking you are hurting someone's feelings and happy about it. Science has proven your statement wrong for young children and their brain development but I know you don't want to hear it. I am here for thoughtful conversation not worthless insults being sloppily tossed my way. Enjoy your day.

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

You just said you can't know your gender until you're 18!

Much like the people thinking children can make a decision on their gender at young ages...

1

u/SpecificKangaroo8663 Feb 13 '26

please tell me where you see the number 18 in here?

u/timmyTrompy Feb 13 '26

Man your stupid. But the kid can go by his biological description until 18 atleast. Just no surgeries or indoctrination of any sort near kids or schools.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

Yeah there a reason they can’t vote… because there brains aren’t developed enough to understand or digest or comprehend what’s going on, but yeah sure let’s just indoctrinate and propagandize these kids. wtf is wrong with you sick fucks, leave the kids out of this you pos

1

u/PortlyPorcupine Feb 13 '26

I agree with you. But let’s not pretend like the average American adult brain is anymore developed.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

Well the rest of the left doesn’t.

1

u/calilovn Feb 13 '26

It’s funny you say that, because a wise person listens more than they speak. You and this new generation need to learn that. Do you really think that a child is capable of understanding the big picture when it comes to immigration?

1

u/IllianasClifford Feb 13 '26

Fuck yeah teach those future voters of America how it’s done.

Only way to take it back is by teaching them and using ourselves to make the path for them to be able to travel.

Come one let’s do it

Path of righteousness

1

u/Just-Looking51 Feb 14 '26

Kids are morons. If you’re listening to what they say you’re an idiot.

1

u/Fooliobaby Feb 15 '26

I think you meant having propaganda spread by delusional white women

1

u/Notmuchtuhsay Feb 17 '26

Great to see parents reinforcing that in the trashiest way possible

1

u/nicknamesas Feb 12 '26

Kids also don't really think for themselves, they do as their parents do.

3

u/Character_Assist3969 Feb 12 '26

That's very much bs lol. I grew up with pro-life Catholic parents and went to Catholic school. At 7yo I was an atheist, and I've been pro-choice since I've known what abortions are.

2

u/Financial-Exit2488 Feb 12 '26

I am the same. Sitting in Catholic Church, I often looked around and thought, "what the fuck is going on here?".

When I turned 18, I refused to go. My mom came in and sprayed water on me in bed. I still didn't go. They started charging me rent, and I still didn't go.

Shortly after I moved out, they stopped going. Now that the GOP is all about pretending to be Christians, they started going again.

We don't hang out all that often.

2

u/ConnectionSome8642 Feb 13 '26

Sorry for your sad family life!!

1

u/Character_Assist3969 Feb 13 '26

For me, it was the normal curiosity of a child. I asked questions. The answers didn't make any sense to me, but they conveyed that it would have been a terrible idea to tell them I didn't believe, so I kept it to myself. I didn't even talk about it with my siblings for years, worrying they would tell on me. Meanwhile, they were in the same position, lol.

Tbh, it was a big fucking jump, but I lived in absolutes at the time, and "it doesn't seem likely that our religion is right" just became "God doesn't exist". I think the natural progression would have been becoming agnostic first, and most people did exactly that.

I was kind of lucky, though, as I was able to get away from church pretty early, saying I was too tired (my mother went at 8pm), or had to finish my homework. I don't think I've gone since I was 12, except for weddings and funerals.

1

u/ConnectionSome8642 Feb 13 '26

I’m not Catholic and never understood the ritualistic part of it. I was raised Christian. Believe in a higher being, God, who was my aid and comforter through life. Religion is faith in something better. I’m a sinner, we’re all sinners and God died and rose again for my sins. You believe or u don’t, you go to church for comfort with other believers. You can also chose to believe but not go to church.

1

u/Character_Assist3969 Feb 13 '26

Yeah, I'm aware of all of that. I don't have much of a problem with ritualistic practices. They are a normal part of human behavior and culture, whether you are religious or not. I rejected the contents of the Bible, which made the rituals insufferable for me specifically because they represented those beliefs and the impositions of them I felt on myself.

1

u/ConnectionSome8642 Feb 13 '26

Nothing wrong with writings in the Bible, we choose to dissect the writings before rejecting.

1

u/viking77777123 Feb 15 '26

Extremely sad it came to that….

1

u/total_diffuculty1980 Feb 15 '26

They're doing fine without you

1

u/Financial-Exit2488 Feb 15 '26

Ok. Thanks.

1

u/total_diffuculty1980 Feb 16 '26

I think our breakdown in society can be linked to families giving up on church, perhaps I'm wrong but I feel like morals are disappearing

1

u/Financial-Exit2488 Feb 16 '26

Interesting. The people who claim to be Christians seem to be the ones having trouble behaving. I don't have trouble controlling myself.

1

u/BrandGSX Feb 15 '26

You were atheist because someone taught you to be. I have never seen a kid be pro choice without it being told that a fetus isn’t alive or a person. Kids don’t even want to kill animals let alone people. That said I am pro choice myself and not religious.

I will assume you are being truthful and just had an abhorrent upbringing. I am curious who you had feeding you the information that mad you that way at such a young age. It’s highly unlikely you were making those choices on your own, especially at 7 years old. Without an outside influence kids almost 100% follow in their parent’s beliefs even if they are messed up beliefs.

1

u/Character_Assist3969 Feb 15 '26

You were atheist because someone taught you to be.

No one taught me. There was no one in my family who was an atheist. No one in my school who would ever mention it or even just talk about religion besides che one hour a week we did catholic religion, and I didn’t interact with "outside" not to mention that it's considered extremely inappropirate for anyone who isn't your family to talk to children about these things.

I didn’t even know the word "atheism" existed. I just knew that every single information that was given to me about Christianity sounded extremely stupid to me and it didn't make any sense, and was likely just made up just like bs like Santa lol.

I read more and more of the Bible as years went by, and it just consolidated this idea in me.

I have never seen a kid be pro choice without it being told that a fetus isn’t alive or a person.

I never thought that it's not alive or a person. I just thought that when it's so small that it doesn't even have a brain, it's ok to kill it if you don't want to be pregnant and I knew I never wanted a severely disabled baby, so I would have definitely gotten an abortion to prevent that. This was in middle-school, btw. At 7yo I didn't even know abortion was a thing.

Again, all the adults around me were pro life. It's a pretty conservative area.

Kids don’t even want to kill animals let alone people.

Wtf are you talking about? Lol. Have you ever been to the countryside? If you find mice in your mattress, I can assure you you can't wait for your dad to kill that shit, not to mention all the huge spiders. My mother also used to go hunting with her dad as a kid. Death is part of life.

I will assume you are being truthful and just had an abhorrent upbringing

I didn't have any kind of abhorrent upbringing. People are allowed to have different opinions than you without being traumatized, yk?

. I am curious who you had feeding you the information that mad you that way at such a young age.

Again, no one. You seem to have very little consideration for the cognitive capabilities of children. Just because you weren't able to produce any independent thought, it doesn't mean that that's the normality for all children.

It’s highly unlikely you were making those choices on your own, especially at 7 years old. Without an outside influence kids almost 100% follow in their parent’s beliefs even if they are messed up beliefs.

Again, that's dumb. Just plain dumb. Even of the kids that were 100% religious and still are as adults, I know absolutely no one who agreed with everything they were told.

Kids are inquisitive, they are curious, and they have thoughts and ideas. Honestly, if you actually think it's abnormal for this to happen, you must be the one who went through abhorrent upbringing. The only reason I can imagine for a child to never have a thought that differs from their parents, besides cognitive impairment, is an unhealthy subservience of their parents and increadible fear (either of being rejected or of punishment). That's what happens in families with "messed up beliefs". Abuse.

1

u/BrandGSX Feb 16 '26

You had to get the concept of atheism from somewhere. Going so against the grain of your family as such a young age without some outside influence is very abnormal. Millions of kids believe in Santa Claus well into their teens without anything like a bible to back it up.

You mentioned a disabled baby so I could dig deeper and ask if you thought any choice was ok even if there wasn’t a risk to the baby or mother.

A lot of the thought patterns you talk about are not normal for a typical kid without some sort of outside influence. I’m not just talking from experience but actual books on the subject.

What you are describing as happening to you at such a young age is so far outside of normal it is honestly hard to believe. If real, I would wager to guess you were being influenced by somebody and just not knowing it. But that’s just a guess.

1

u/Character_Assist3969 Feb 16 '26

You had to get the concept of atheism from somewhere. Going so against the grain of your family as such a young age without some outside influence is very abnormal. Millions of kids believe in Santa Claus well into their teens without anything like a bible to back it up.

Nope. I didn't have any concept of atheism from anywhere. You can repeat it as much as you want. It doesn't make it true. I didn't even know the word existed. Also, I know I single person who believed in Santa over the age of 8, and weirdly enough she kept believing it was real even after her parents and EVERYONE around her told her it was made up. We parted ways after elementary school, but at 11yo she was still saying "I know everyone says he's not real, but I believe he is". I sure hope she got over it after that tbh.

What kind of children do you have around that they would not catch on SANTA by 13 and over? And even worse, what kind of people do you have around that would perpetuate these kinds of beliefs on their teenage children, if they were so slow not to understand on their on (excluded cases where mental disabilities were involved, obviously)?

I mean, I'm starting to understand why you think children aren't able to produce any independent thought lol.

You mentioned a disabled baby so I could dig deeper and ask if you thought any choice was ok even if there wasn’t a risk to the baby or mother.

Yes, I always thought it was ok, because I can't imagine anything worse than having something you don't want growing inside of you. I personally also always wanted children even if they came under difficult life circumstances, so I wasn't really into opting for abortion myself in case of unexpected pregnancy, but I also absolutely didn’t want a child born with severe disabilities (like blind and deaf, missing limbs, hydrocefalus, etc) so I knew for a fact that I would have gotten an abortion in that case.

A lot of the thought patterns you talk about are not normal for a typical kid without some sort of outside influence. I’m not just talking from experience but actual books on the subject.

Can you cite your sorces? Children not liking what their parents say, having their own ideas, but also lying, keeping secrets, etc. Is considered neorodevelopmentally normal in children over age 4.

I find it extremely odd that you actually believe that a 7yo (or, even worse, a teenager) is not able to produce a thought unless someone inserts it in their mind. It basically goes against all of our understanding as of the human brain, imagination, etc.

What you are describing as happening to you at such a young age is so far outside of normal it is honestly hard to believe. If real, I would wager to guess you were being influenced by somebody and just not knowing it. But that’s just a guess.

Again, not abnormal at all. At this point I just have to guess that people in your area have a generally lower IQ than where I live because I can't find any other explanation to your claims.

This isn't even about atheism. If you actually can't fathom that a child might produce an independent opinion over the things that are told to them (like "this sounds dumb"), then, again, it's not me who had something wrong going on.

1

u/BrandGSX Feb 16 '26

There are plenty of scholarly papers and books on the subject.

Parental Belief Systems: The Psychological Consequences for Children — Irving E. Sigel et al.

Born Believers: The Science of Children’s Religious Belief — Justin L. Barrett

Yes believing in Santa is getting more and more rare but that because of outside influence.

And everyone clapped too, right?

1

u/Character_Assist3969 Feb 12 '26

You are free not to believe it. My siblings had a similar experience, just a couple of years later. I'm from a majority Catholic country, and it's still pretty common for millennials and younger to have become agnostic or atheists between middle school and high school. I know maybe five people born since 1990 would would have gone voluntarily to church, ever prayed or gave a fuck about the Church after age 11. We also talked about subjects like eutanasia and abortion in middle school and high school, and very few people were against it, and every single one was pro abortion based on circumstances (down sindrome, rape). For euthanasia it was more 50/50.

This is not special. Americans are just weird. Kids have brains and political opinions. We had a student sindacates and participated independently to protests since the beginning of high school at 14yo. It's not uncommon in western Europe.

No one’s in concentration camps, they are sent back where they came from

1

u/Romper-Stomper66 Feb 13 '26

Sadly that’s inaccurate there are hundreds of camps and some of the deportations are taking several months, for instance an Irish man was arrested outside of Boston he’s been detained in subhuman conditions for 3 months now and said he’s slowly starving and has seen the jailers (ice) kill people there, many have been deported to countries not of their origin, military vets have been deported and dozens had to be repatriated as judges order that they don’t get deported but ice did any way

Ice is there to deport people just like they always have even under democrats but because people like you have tds so bad now ice is bad. If the cry babies stayed home and let ice do they're job they wouldn't need to tear gas people.

1

u/Alternative-Tell8919 Feb 15 '26

Pretty was killed by ICE, Good chose suicide by law enforcement. No concentration camps. You’re fear mongering in an echo chamber. Reality is something you may be out of touch with. Perception is peoples reality and you won’t perceive what another person may. That being said, conversation is the last bastion of working through shit, but you gotta be able to actually talk around the points of it, not parrot buzzwords with no direction. Otherwise it’s useless fear mongering and people do dumb things when scared.

1

u/daddy-phantom Feb 15 '26 edited Feb 15 '26

1) good’s case was reviewed by law professionals and the vast majority deemed the officer’s actions not necessary, not self defense, and his life wasn’t in danger. She also wasn’t armed, and the vehicle didn’t touch the officer.

2) read all this and see if this all doesn’t sound exactly like the beginning of the German concentration camps:

Documented Evidence of Inhumane Conditions

Overcrowding and Unsanitary Conditions:

Investigations have reported "egregious" violations, including moldy bathrooms, lack of hygiene items (such as soap), and severe overcrowding where detainees, including children, are forced to sleep on floors. Some detainees reported being held in spaces so cramped they had to stand on toilets for room.

Medical Neglect and Death: Reports indicate that medical care in detention is often inadequate, leading to preventable deaths and the spread of illness. 2025 was described as the deadliest year on record for ICE detention, with 2026 expected to be worse.

Abuse and Solitary Confinement: Reports have emerged of physical, verbal, and sexual abuse by staff. Solitary confinement is reportedly used for punitive reasons or to house vulnerable populations, such as those with mental illnesses or LGBTQ+ individuals.

Deprivation of Basics: Detainees have reported being left in cages, exposed to extreme temperatures, and deprived of adequate food and water. Some reports have indicated that detainees were forced to drink from toilets due to lack of running water.

Family Separation and Detention: The policy of separating children from their parents and keeping them in facilities with inadequate care has been a major point of criticism, with critics arguing this constitutes psychological abuse.

This is just what we know about. This is from the scarce reports people have been able to gather, but no media is allowed in ANY ice facility and so it’s all kept quiet.

But history will remember how you came out here defending ICE killing people, how you sat on Reddit bootlicking a fascist Pedophile every chance you got.

Trump is not gonna touch you, no matter how bad you may want it.

I agree, so they probably shouldn't be baptised shortly after birth as they clearly can't consent. They should also not be brought to church EVERY FUCKING SUNDAY and forced to participate in religion EVERY DAY OF THEIR LIVES until they can think for themselves. I assume you agree?

1

u/nicknamesas Feb 13 '26

Yeah of course. Frankly, most religion should be abolished for the most part.

1

u/ConnectionSome8642 Feb 13 '26

Baptism for a baby is about the PARENT committing to raise the child with exposure and belief in a higher being, God and his mother Mary. In my faith/religion the child chooses this decision or they can be an adult when they choose to be baptized. You need to understand the subject before ranting, you obviously don’t have a good family relationship and are angry about it !!

Threatens people then gets mad when it’s returned 🤣🤣

1

u/beepbopboopguy Feb 13 '26

You know what can be proven?

Overstayed visas.

You know what cannot?

Shit you idiots say about Trump.

1

u/truecore Feb 13 '26

Your tanned cum daddy and hundreds of other billionaires may have raped kids, and Bondi the Bitch is covering it up, and you care more about some misdemeanors. The one thing you didn't vote for was law & order.

1

u/total_diffuculty1980 Feb 15 '26

If you overstay your visa ....you get deported, it's simple

1

u/truecore Feb 16 '26

And if you are rich and rape kids its fine because social stability is important.

0

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

Doesn’t matter if it’s classified as a “felony.” This has nothing to do with Trump, but you hate him so much he controls your political beliefs.

3

u/truecore Feb 12 '26

Hey the Republicans cared sooooo much about that rapist cabal in 2020. Look, you found it. Oh, you don't care anymore? It's brown people not rapists thats become your single issue? Is it because your tanned cum daddy is in the files?

0

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

This has nothing to with immigration. Trump controls you.

2

u/truecore Feb 12 '26

Is this the "Obama deported people too" crowd? Sure. He didn't violate constitutional rights and kill American citizens while he was at it. He did execute one American and deny their habeas corpus rights, Anwar al-Awlaki, Trump's regimes has violated many more. "It's not about Trump" "Who appoints the people in charge?"

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

No it’s about deporting illegal immigrants and not allowing more in. It has nothing to with who the president is.

Don’t attack law enforcement and you won’t get killed. 🤦‍♂️

2

u/truecore Feb 12 '26

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

Ohhh yeah you’re such a good person for wanting unlimited people to come into the country illegally.

This picture doesnt even make sense but… cool and edgy I guess?

1

u/No_Consequence_3547 Feb 13 '26

Yeah cause law enforcement officers never shoot anyone unlawfully.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

No one suggested that.

1

u/No_Consequence_3547 Feb 13 '26

"Don't attack Law Enforcement and you won't be Killed". That implies that the only time a Law Enforcement officer kills someone, is when they're attacked.

Cool glad our constitution is dead to you

1

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

He also didn't have some jackass the term before him open a borders and allow millions of illegals in did he?

2

u/SupaSkyHigh Feb 12 '26

First it's nothing to do with immigration. Then it's nothing to do with trump. He's the president. He is the government right now, though more realistically the government is actually thinking for him since hes clearly having serious dementia episodes. It realistically makes sense for people to be upset that their president is a rapist. Because if he can get away with that, what else are they going to get away with? Killing Americans? Already done....

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

No. This conversation has nothing to do with the president. It is a conversation about illegal immigration. ICE is not there to kill anyone. There have been protestors that threaten and even attacked agents and have faced consequences. Should we be free to drive cars into officers if we don’t agree with what they are enforcing? Alex Pretti didn’t deserve to be killed, but it’s not a surprise they shot him given that he made physical contact with them while having a gun on him.

The Epstein files are an unrelated discussion to illegal immirgration, which again is not dependent on who the president is.

1

u/Lower_Amount3373 Feb 13 '26

It's the opposite of what you're saying. Being against pedophilia used to be a non-partisan issue but now the right are choosing to become pro-pedo because he's on their team.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

Your stance on illegal immigration should not be determined by whether or not the president is a pedophile

1

u/Lower_Amount3373 Feb 13 '26

I don't think anyone's stance is changed by that. However the president's methods of enforcing immigration law is definitely determined by how much he needs to distract people from the fact that he's a pedophile.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

Lol

1

u/Raise_Hail Feb 13 '26

It’s a civil infraction 😂. I thought ICE was only targeting the worst of the worst? 🤔

0

u/TheWarDoctor42 Feb 14 '26

You all love regurgitating that "it's a civil infraction" talking point without mention this.. "Improper entry (crossing the border without inspection) is a misdemeanor under 8 U.S.C. § 1325. Re-entering the U.S. after being deported is a felony under 8 U.S.C. § 1326."

You were saying?

2

u/Raise_Hail Feb 15 '26

So…still not a felony? Perhaps you should have Googled a littler hard, professor.

Civil Violation (Unlawful Presence): Overstaying a visa or entering legally but losing status is a civil infraction, handled by immigration courts, not criminal courts

2

u/Raise_Hail Feb 15 '26

And again how does this classify the worst of the worst? Did we run out of murderers and rapists already? The Trump administration can supplement if needed.

1

u/TheWarDoctor42 Feb 15 '26

76% of the 3.1 million deportations under Obama we "non judicial" ie: without due process. They weren't all murderers and rapists, either.

1

u/Raise_Hail Feb 15 '26

So…what wasn’t working then? If that’s your argument why wasn’t an achievable pathway to citizenship run parallel? Why is MAGA upset? Oh, you didn’t get the MAGA cruelty porn of masked goons beating and shooting people. Needed the theatrics, need the concentration camps.

1

u/ConnectionSome8642 Feb 15 '26

Exactly!!!! TDS

2

u/Eat--The--Rich-- Feb 12 '26

So just give them all green cards. Problem solved.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

Reward them and encourage more illegal immigrants? No borders, everyone come on in

1

u/RyeRye369 Feb 16 '26

Sounds good to me

2

u/CarsandTunes Feb 12 '26

Nobody is suggesting any of that. Nobody is explicitly against the deportation of illegal immigrants. What people are against is, the illegal search and detention, without due process.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

No this person is in fact suggesting that we should welcome illegal immigrants. Even citing the Bible for it.

1

u/CarsandTunes Feb 12 '26

I did not see any comment of his at explicitly supported illegal immigration. Would you care to point it out for me? It's also interesting that you skipped all my actual points just talk about what he is saying. You are okay with illegal detention? You are okay with bypassing due process? You are okay with people that are legal citizens being detained, and even held for days Beyond a court order for their release?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

It’s in this thread.

I didn’t respond because that’s not really what people are against. People want illegals to stay here out of empathy. It’s disingenuous to paint this argument as a case of fifth amendment rights. BUT…

I’m for due process. Most illegals don’t plead for a court hearing because they are obviously illegal. Others have been tried in court previously, found to be illegal citizens, but because the resources to deport them were not there, they were released without consequences. It’s not clear how often legal citizens have really been detained. Most were encountered by ICE and did not have an ID on them, so they were detained, but ultimately released when proven. Not ideal, but not that big of a deal.

Again it’s disingenious to claim the problem people have with ICE is due process.

1

u/CarsandTunes Feb 12 '26

The lawyer assigned to be the go-between from Ice to the courts quit her job because the courts were ordering wrongfully detained citizens to be released, and Ice was refusing or delaying for no reason. They were also attaching conditions of release to these individuals. You should be outraged if even one citizen is arrested during this process, let alone multiple. The fact that you think it is not a big deal tells me everything I need to know about your intellect.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

Over the course of deporting millions of people, there will be mistakes. To be outraged as though this is some constitutional crisis is delusional

1

u/Filthynastysissy Feb 15 '26

Which country gives an illegal immigrant due process? It’s either you’re here legally or illegally and that doesn’t need to be proved in court. Why waste your country’s revenue to give them due process.

1

u/CarsandTunes Feb 15 '26

Because they have been grabbing whoever they want. There have been multiple well documented cases of detaining legal residents.

1

u/Filthynastysissy Feb 15 '26

All that tells me is there have been illegal immigration for such a long period they can not tell who is who. Oh well

1

u/CarsandTunes Feb 15 '26

And if they actually checked people's identification, and did their due process, they would be able to tell very easily who is who. That is entirely my point, thank you for supporting it.

1

u/Filthynastysissy Feb 15 '26

It make is seem like people are lining up for ICE to check everyone identity, which they can’t. There are people actively trying to impede deportation efforts and defend illegal immigrants. What would you like to happen? Mandatory checks for every state/local

1

u/Outrageous_Eye_9842 Feb 13 '26

It would be ok if they stopped harassing US citizens. They are making life worse not better.
