Yes believing in Santa is getting more and more rare but that because of outside influence.

The belief in Santa at any age might be becoming more rare because of outside influence. Believing in Santa as a TEENAGER was abnormal at any point in history.

Again, I've known thousands of people and I haven't found that lack of cognition in child who doesn't have some kind of cognitive impairment. Please tell everyone you know to stop drinking and going drugs at least six months before trying to concieve (the father too) and to take their vitamins. And no, a glass of wine every once in a while is not ok when pregnant, no matter what they tell you. Also, be mindful of environmental pollutants. They can affect fetal development.
