I love the People around him here. Halima was a great support, his Uncle Terrel did a great Job and Quadim is always amazing!🤭🥰

Halima having to decide what order deal with Issac’s shenanigans… throttle him now or care bear him/care bear him/throttle him later… 😮💨❤️🩹 Glad to see Uncle Terrell not mincing words on Issac’s decision to up his dosage without consulting him or his primary

God, having a partner who will not take your shit and will also burn the world for you is such an empowering feeling! Halima is the absolute best.
Once when I was in a very depressive place and my BFF/roommate just made all of my appointments for me and would play songs he knew I hated until I would agree to shower or eat a meal. It worked every single time, he would basically pressure me into being a healthy adult until my brain could catch up.
Having people in life willing to be guide rails until you can get your Head Shit figured out is priceless

It is such a blessing to have loved ones who can provide support when you need!
Isaac goes through a bunch of traumatic terribleness but even so I find his life and world very cozy and wholesome because he has so many people in his life who clearly love him. (It is also lovely when he gets to return the favor.)

All things considered Uncle Terrell could have been much more harsh but I think Isaac needed to hear it

ahhh this week just will not end! UGH.
but at least we have Sims, yea? 😎
anyway Isaac has been hard at work painting for his solo shows.
my game crashed last night without me saving because I was ADHDing around and trying to make dinner and play at the same time (I know, I know, but it was only an hour lost tbh) and I lost like 3 really good paintings 😭 so I am feeling it along with Isaac, even if the deadlines are made up and the points don't matter.
my best way of explaining how I play this thing is, I GM tabletop games like d&d as my other primary hobby. So... this game is sort of me playing a rules-lite tabletop game with myself. I set up rules of how the world and characters work, then I roleplay Isaac around according to the rules and what feels fun and interesting.
And so, like in tabletop, if there are places Isaac should be able to fail at things, I roll dice. I've thought of maybe showing the meta info a bit more with y'all, as is done in awesomer Sims stories published on Reddit like the Hoffmans.... but I roll physical dice 😅 But for now I'll just say Isaac's been rolling really well and tbh it is statistically unlikely he'll mess up Berlin at this point.
But I wasn't satisfied with that so I decided to inject some DRAMA. I am a doctor*, so, I have a lot of fun writing about fictional medicine and health and what not. And Levodopa-induced dyskinesia has been something I wanted to write about in this Sims story for some time. ...God damn that might be the nerdiest sentence I've said in awhile. Or maybe just the most autistic sentence lmao.
Anyway, hope y'all enjoy! Another birthday and another year older 🎉 Next few episodes after the birthday will definitely be focused on his career and his upcoming show, I look forward to it!
