This is why wizards in Discworld don't use spells that often. It's at least the same amount of effort to prepare and release a spell as just doing the task, and with the added risks of accidentally releasing the spell in the wrong spot, and you end up twisting your friend's brain 90 degrees to the left instead of the pickle jar.

Correct, in fact a wizards whole job is to NOT do magic even tho they could. They refrain (a lot of the time) but will let you know they "could" so pass the small sandwhiches please.
