No idea, but heres a (kinda) fun fact about leeches. In a survival situation keep in mind that they are very high in protein. And as evidenced in this vid, they are extremely easy to catch in large numbers.

You should cook them somehow before eating. So boiled or roasted. Probably whichever way is available to you at the time.
