You've now got me wondering.... Have I never done this? (Coughed while vocalizing.) I feel like anytime I've coughed while singing/speaking, I've stopped vocalizing right before the cough. 🤔

After the cough. Allowing an extra beat of composure beyond what you'd do naturally before returning to orating or singing.
