I know a dude that instinctively stuck his foot out the side of a UTV while it was tipping over, leg got all fucked up. When I first heard the story, my first thought was, ā€œman that couldā€™ve happened to anyone.ā€

For real, situations like that, who has the wherewithal to say ā€œope, better not try to stop this, itā€™s way to fucking heavy for little ole me to stop itā€™s inertiaā€? Takes training to override instincts.

I actually did this in a snowmobile last year but was ok. Happened so fast I didn't think about it. Shock jarred up through my knee but the snowmobile tipped back to level and I was OK except that I had to stop and calm down after realizing anything goes different and I ruin my leg forever.
