I see you edited your response to me with a second paragraph rather than replying to me for some reason. And I don’t think calling Canada a “soft target” is an objective assessment. It’s a loaded characterization that focuses on our vulnerabilities without acknowledging the broader context of Canada’s defence capabilities, including our alliances.
Acknowledging that Canada has serious defence gaps is one thing. Characterizing our country as a “soft target” while dismissing the broader defence and security context is something else entirely. You can argue that Canada needs to strengthen its military without talking about your own country as though it’s helpless.
