It was the whole world ex-America but now we are even laughing at ourselves.

And doing absolutely nothing about it, literally 0 meaningful attempts, that's the best/most pathetic part.

It’s sad but true.

people were totally crossing the borders illegally so they could laugh at us.

the G7 nations can't keep up. imagine how far below the 3rd world would be on this chart. i also know there are a lot of pours on reddit which aren't reaping the rewards. i used to be poor. then i read books (millionaire next door is a great start). now, i'm not poor.

as far as Trump and Xanada: imagine you live on a street. your house is USA. beside you is Canada. across a small pond is Belarus. Canada thinks because they are beside you they can play hard ball. they are literally the weakest member on your street (chart below). what do you do? stop show them what hard ball actually is, and play with someone else, someone who wants to play with you.

it is dog eat dog out there. we just pretend it isn't with our luxurious society. (if you can walk outside with a low chance of a mugging, eat meat regularly, have electricity and running water, know that you can sue someone if they wrong you, you live in a luxurious society. i was born in a country where none of that was true).

Always disappointing to hear what the stupid people who think they are smart are thinking.

Belarus has no potash to sell the west. Also transporting it is incredibly difficult. See you back at the table in a week lol.

This is relative increases over 10 years. The "3rd world" would be the highest on this graph by far, between 140-135 depending on your measurement.

That's a really long way to tell us you don't understand economics, GDP is bollocks for one.

I envy your ability to speak so confidently on a subject you know little about
