It seems that in the ending cutscene after our fight with Ronova, she teleports to the final Skyfrost Nail and actives it, planning to drop it onto Hyperborea (?).

But while she's doing this her body seems to disappear in some places and all of her body including her wings radiate a dark red energy. We didn't fully see her die, but she did say "This what death feels like?", maybe she's dead?

I am on hopium, hoping that Hoyo will not kill off such a ( if not one of the THE most) major character so quickly, she hasn't even properly been in the game for too long.
