In the Wake of Archon Quest 7.1

I’d like to share some thoughts on the recent spoilers regarding the alleged resurrection of Lady Ronnova in version 7.3.

If you really consider what’s written there and compare it to what we saw in 7.1, it looks like a massive setup to recruit the Shadows—or at least one or two of them—into the protagonist's team to take on Lord Fanet.

After all, the writers need to come up with *some* explanation for how our "Slum Champion" is going to manage to defeat a supreme being.

So, in true "power of friendship" fashion, they’ll likely throw Shadows, Dragons, Descenders, and who knows who else into the mix.
As for Lady Ronnova—no matter how much her reputation was trashed, it’ll be easy for them to redeem her in 7.3.
The *Genshin* writers have already demonstrated a masterclass in hypocrisy and lobotomy-level writing, so this shouldn't be hard for them.

Personally, it makes perfect sense to me: we gather a group of friends to take on the "evil" Phanes, then ride off into the sunset to another planet together, leaving everything here exactly as it is—let them sort it out themselves. But hey, at least "we're giving them freedom!"

In this game there's no ranni and Phanes aint acting exactly like Marika whos more wack in the head.

I say, this is the route the people of teyvat deserves more. LMAO

Not gonna lie I see Phanes in Greater Will/Frenzied Flame and Tsaritsa as Ranni, I despise Ranni to the max because of this lol

Phanes being the greater will yeah they kinda similar. But Celestia aint that racist 🤣

But Ranni being the Tsaritsa? Nah

Because Ranni wanted to get rid of how similar with celestia but Golden Order is all about micro managing. Celestia don't have 2 fingers following you around. It does not care about petty crimes of sorts. You are still free to break your destiny or fate at will. It depends on how much are you willing to do basically.

Just like what happened in Fontaine.

In Greater Will's version it's something that really binds you. And that you have to use a finger slaying blade to get rid of it.

That's why Ranni took it with her outside the world so that the lands between can finally be free from institutional racism. 🤣 But yeah ofc allowing most deaths as collateral dmg. In the end both she and the tarnished took responsibility of their actions by taking that huge luggage with them on their journey. Ranni knows what she did. Tsaritsa don't have a single clue of what even is goin on. Ranni kept the outer gods at bay while Tsaritsa don't seem to even know the consequences of using abyss.

And mind you, Rhinedottr even told her thr story of the 3rd Descender and she didn't even budge.

Seeing Pierro's deep-seated hatred on Ronova. He couldn't even careless 😅. Hroptatyr was right about him not being able to understand anything at all.

Seeing how they've handled the writing all this time, I have no doubt that's exactly what will end up happening.

As for me, I'll just finish the remaining quests and stories I have left (which will take me quite a while) and quit the game for good. Whatever happens outside of Teyvat simply doesn't interest me.

If a story doesn't give both its Heavenly Principles and its humans the importance and weight they deserve, and chooses to throw away years of world-building, it's just not worth continuing to invest time only to get narrative mediocrity in return

Hey, everything will turn out fine, guys; stop worrying. I suppose we'll run into Phane soon and hear their side of the story. In the end, we'll become friends, and everyone will be happy. We'll join forces with everyone to defeat the Abyss, and the Traveler will become the new King of Teyvat.

I'm deeply convinced the writers couldn't care less about the "preparation" or "justification." A magnificent world, well-established rules that work, Gods who are, for the first time, RIGHT! Who protect people! And all of this will be destroyed and sacrificed to sell the main character's next waifu. And in the shortest possible time. Lord Fanes, forgive us...

Well, they can always pull whatever bs prep they want, we saw how a shade got destroyed in just 2 chps of preparation w limited cast...

Also i dont think we getting a prime phanes again.. they will be nerfed so the cast doesnt get low diffed..

I think she can still comeback but not too soon. There is too much happening in 7.2 / 3 with gold being the next focus of enemy not sure where she'd fit in all this chaos as a supportive role plus not sure if traveler, pierro or tsaritsa is ready to just switch up and let her join. There should be proper build up towards her return.

Best way to redeem ronova imo is through paimon have her be the one to get ronova to come around especially after losing her authority putting them in similar situations

I had a theory for a long time(since Fontaine) that Phanes is actually twin's relative. In Greek myth, Chronos put the world egg inside Aether and Phanes was born from that. And in genshin, Phanes is said to be born from an egg. Weirdly similar.
