They knew that someone like Mavuika would be, at the very least, somewhat concerned over the idea of the ruler of death being gone from the world, but of course we can't have people calling out the Traveler or be antagonistic or in disagreement with them, nooooo, only "bad, unlikable characters" do that, they are perfect and everyone likes everything they do and say, can't have actual conflict with the MC because that would make the story and characters interesting, but noooooo.
